Peter demonstrated the value of an experienced repairman. He quickly diagnosed the fault as a settings and controls issue when he could have easily tried to replace components that wouldn't have resolved the issue

Francisco arrived promptly at his scheduled time, was extremely patient with questions and did a great job at explaining what the problem was with our washer. We decided to replace it at this point and that was due to his expertise in explaining cost of repair and what it would take to fix the washer.
