Broke worse than before

Broke the AC worse than it was. Started at 76 and now it is 82. Refused to do anymore work in it and said give it time to cool. All he did was release the freon into the air (did not know I was watching the CCTV). I asked him what did he said he saved it and when asked to put it back he left.

Gone 1 hour AC off again

Gone 1 hour and the AC is already back off. He couldn't fix what he needed to fix and said. Hopefully, it lasts us through the rest of the heat season.

Totally inefficient

Collin was more interested in selling me a new unit than trying to find out what was wrong with the current unit. After he came the first time, the unit (which had been cooling but had turned off once a couple of weeks before) was functioning. He cleaned the coils, charged for that service as well as the service fee. 5 hours later, the unit was not working at all. I had to wait for him to return (I was out of town for a week and he couln't come for another week). When he came back today, he told me again that I had to have a new unit. Left without doing anything (for which I received a large labor bill). I did not get an "estimate" for the work today; I did not "sign" the invoice (he apparently forged my initial) and I am totally disallusioned with Sears Service. There is no way to reach anyone by phone; the chat option only gives limited ways to get response (none of which were what I needed). Based on my experience with Collin, I will never buy a Sears product or use Sears Repair service again.

Rushed and pointless

Told my husband out unit needed parts. Told my Home warranty a wheel feel off? While here didn't put wheel back on??? Didn't explain this to my husband only told my husband parts needed to be ordered. My cat died while we have no ac and I'm still left wondering do we need parts? Or did a wheel just fall off??He was at our house for 17 minutes.

Nice guy No fix

The tech arrived 12 days after initial claim and did not have the materials to perform a simple fix.

Horrible

The same service man was sent who claimed that there was a propane gas leak around the AC unit who he has come to repair and he said the job would automatically be rescheduled that never was prompting me to have the gas company to dispatch emergency technician who said that there was no gas leak, After waiting for Nine days I called to inquire about when to expect a return of AC technician, I was told that there was nothing on schedule, I had requested to send a different technician yet they sent the same technician who had a hard time finding my address only after being there two weeks earlier to the same location, , First time he said there is no Freon leak or being low , this time exactly the opposite of what he diagnosed the first time, No wonder Sears has gone bankrupt because of incompetent people getting paid for what they don't know!

Service tech. )admitted to me he was hit an AC mechanic

My AC is still not repaired and is doing the same thing. He assured me that in a few hours it would be fine and it most certainly is not. He tried to lie to me and explain that if the AC keeps it 20 degrees cooler it fine. For 25 years this AC kept my house at the temp i set. This is NOT repaired.

Not renewing Sears service agreement

Totally disappointed. Technician was not apprised of the issue with flue pipe as discussed with dispatch. Took a lot of photos and left me with no resolution
