Poor service
The man just wiped down the freezer as he could not find cause of problem. Wants to put blame on me like i should. not leave door open too long, putting hit stuff in freezer both of which we fo not do, all appliances are poorly made nowadays. Very unhappy, grumpy person, deserves less than one star. My freezer had been a lemon since day one and the problem is more complicated than anyone could fix and i think should be replaced as stipulated in my contract. I sm very unhappy with Sesrs re tratment of this particular freezer. Please count the number of times you came out to fix this freezer for the SAME problem. I am very unhappy.

Did not do a diagnostic
Did not do a diagnostic on fridge. Declared nothing was wrong and it still isn't keeping cool in refrigera ter.

Dissatisfaction
I attempted to explain that my thermostat had been set on 74 ALL day but the temp would not exceed 75 degrees, therefore the unit has been running continually. He insisted that nothing was wrong with the unit. Told me to chang my thermostat. He promptly left! Not friendly at all. Appeared to be annoyed that he had to come back as he had been out here several dsys ago for the same issue. I called Sears and spoke to Tom and he inquired as to whether or not I had checked the batteries in my thermostat. I advised that I didn't know it had batteries. He walked me through and I changed the batteries. He assured me that this should fix the issue. He was so helpful and very professional. Moreover, he took time to hear me out . I have been a Sears customer for many many years and have many items covered under my Master Protection Plan. I have never had any other techs to be rude as Abe.

Unsuccessful
Technician improperly installed two compressors, leaving refrigerator inoperable both times. Follow-up technician unblocked system caused by poor soldering skills and repaired refrigerator leaving it operable.

Replacement of the control board on the dryer

Wrong diagnostic
I have been dealing with this problem close to two month, one tech said it was the fan, he ordered the fan waited for a week, the second tech that came to install the fan said it was not the fan but the thermostat, he ordered the thermostat waited for but did not install the fan. Waited for 9 days The first tech came back said it was not the thermostat but he installed the fan not the thermostat. The problem continued, called it in again waited for a week , a third tech came installed the thermostat, luckily I kept other wise would have to wait for another week.

Time for improvement
Martin refused to complete the job by performing a check on the system after the new parts were installed. Martin made false statements to the required adult in the house about a conversation he had with the owner which was completely fabricated. He was argumentative, unprofessional and refused to do a complete job. What a disappointment.

Service on 8/21/23
It's too early to tell if what he did fixed the problem. What I can tell you is that the water and ice dispensers now do not work. YES they worked up and until he performed whatever he repaired. As usual we called for a new appointment, and it is a month away. You have to listen to the agent trying to sell more maintenance contracts even though we do not have anything else for A& E to maintain. I believe that the reason the appointments are so far out because we don't have more business for you. You tell the agent that and still she won't shut up.
