Range service
Technician was courteous however the oven had to be taken apart to replace parts. After putting it all back together the oven is now badly scratched and cooktop was put back on crooked and not level, also oven malfunctioned again shortly after he left.

David not able to fix anything
I asked Sears to send someone to fix my icemaker. He steamed the frozen dispensary to clear it but couldn't fix it to make it dispense ice cubes. He didn't know what was wrong with the dishwasher or washing machine, and had no real ideas of what to do next. None of the appliances are working any differently now. I am out a couple hundred dollars and a couple hours of completely wasted time. Will not call Sears again.

Review
Philip called around 5:00pm saying he had one more service call to make before coming to our home. We had been waiting since 8:00am. I told him our house was a bit tricky to find because it is a long dirt driveway and you cannot see the house from the street and I started to give him some directions. He grumbled that he would not remember "all that" and said he'd be along after the other service call. He banged on our door (even though we had a lit doorbell. He grumbled a hello when I greeted him and quickly said there was nothing wrong with our refrigerator after observing it and placing a "magnet" on the inside frame of the door. I told him that the refrigerator was very, unusually quiet and was not keeping the temperatures as cold as they have been for the past 3 years. I also told him that my food was going bad more quickly. He dismissed my complaints, saying that I should be thankful that the refrigerator was as quiet as it is. He said I had my thermometer in the wrong spot and threw it in my crisper drawer. He also said that where I was putting my uncooked meats (in the upper right hand corner of my top shelf) was also wrong, even though it sometimes ices up and I had been doing this for 3 years without a problem. My ice makers are working, but I had them replaced on 7/31/23. No computer codes were taken for errors. He then left! I felt it was a very poor service call and nothing was resolved.

Not very good listener
He didn't listen to what I had to say. My washer was running for all night and it completed when he was here. So he basically took money. He didn't have answer for why it took so long . Some days it doesn't even spin, I asked him why is that happening- no answer there as well.

Sears repair
Sears is very unprofessional the technician did not show up for two appointments and did not have the courtesy to call and let us know he needed to reschedule. My tenant called off work and lost money. This has happened to me as a costumer of Sears a couple of times. They are very unprofessional. If it wasn't for my warranty company I would have never used them. I don't even purchase appliances from Sears anymore because of how unprofessional they are.

Charges
It took 3 trips to repair my refrigerator, which was no fault of mine. The first technician did not have a thermostat for the refrigerator. He ordered a thermostat and scheduled a second visit. The second technician took the old thermostat out and discovered the wrong thermostat had been ordered. He found that Sears could not get the correct thermostat. He said if I found the part, I could schedule a time for a technician to put it on. I found a replacement thermostat and the third technician came to install it. This was a continuous situation because the first technician couldn't put in the correct thermostat. With the 3 visits, I ended up paying almost $700 just for the trip costs, not including the cost of the thermostat. All of the technicians are courteous and helpful, but you can't contact anyone in a supervisory position to explain your particular situation, and the technicians can't make decisions on charges. I wanted the installation done properly, but I think all the charges on the same issue are extremely too high.

Refrigerator
Tech was fine but 1 day later refrigerator is not working again nor is freezer Need to wait another 2 weeks for appointment- This is ridiculous

Kenmore refrigerator
The service was a RIP OFF. The administration of the service obviously was intended to cheat the customer. The customer should have been made aware of the ridiculous cost estimate of repair beforehand, after the service was fully aware of the type of problem. The technician was very helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, he is working for a bad company.

It took way to long
The tech Andy did a great job. However the part came and I still had to wait a week to get my refrigerator repaired. It was really inconveniencing!
