He came over and checked AC he told me he will take care of everything. My AC motor is under manufacture warranty so he told me he will order new one and I just pay labor fee about 160. He told me he will be back but after 20 mins he stayed in his truck then just drive away. I was expecting he come back give me some information what should I do next. The AC not working and I was stucked. I feel like I paid fee but no service provided.

Dryer seal

After the time had passed that we were told to leave the door glue dry. I went to use the dryer and noticed that there is glue across the door, where clothing can get on in. I need to know how to get this glue off the door!!! I don't want glue on my clothing!!!!

Douglas was extremely rude to my wife.

Douglas was incredibly informative and willing to diagnose and recommend for our washer. However I can't ignore the discussion he had with my wife prior to my arrival to see meet with him. He mentioned he didn't want to work our home warranty company because they were difficult. He also argued with my wife about the leaking problem we had. He also mentioned being close to retirement so I imagine he's becoming less concerned with his demeanor while doing calls. This was incredibly disappointing as Doug has serviced quite a few of our appliances over the years.

8 Weeks To Conclude The Repair

My first appointment for the repair of my microwave was July 24. The technician required a "helper" to remove the micro; reschedule was for 2 weeks later and was cancelled as there was no "helper"; reschedule for 2 weeks later the technician came with "helper" and parts were needed; the next appointment scheduled 2 weeks later for Sept. 4 was cancelled as there was no "helper". The appointment was rescheduled 2 weeks later for Sept 16 and the technician arrived with "helper' and got the repair done. Prior to the Sept 16 appointment, however, I called customer support 3 times to assure that this appointment would include a helper and not be rescheduled. Note there was 2 weeks between each reschedule. I am a new member of the Sears Protection Plan and this was my first repair call. It was astounding and unacceptable that scheduling of a technician with a helper was such a challenge. It seemed that the appointment was made and the availability of a "helper" was hit or miss (if one happened to be in the area). This made no sense. What would have made sense was to schedule the technician and the helper for the same appointment so that it was on the helper's schedule and not left to chance. Perhaps this is what occurred this last time. hope my experience going forward using my Protection Plan is much better. This experience was extremely stressful and dissatisfying.

Water leak in freezer

Been out two times back to back. Hours later still leaking. Third appointment canceled by Sears till next day. Have no water cold in kitchen including my water filter for 4 days buying water to cook with and drink. Hope third time they fix the problem.

Problem not fixed

Daniel came right on time. He is very pleasant and really inspected the washer. He couldn't find the leak and thought it might be a build up of soap. After he left we did the Self Clean option. When that was done we did a quick wash with a few rags and it leaked again. So I will need another service call.

No problem with Justin, he fixed it "for now." Sears' repair charges are equal to a new set of appliances. I will be buying a new set from the store. Otherwise I will simply go without in the future.
