Refrigerator Repair
Douglas came in and watched some videos to come out to say there was a kink in the line. Wait until midnight and it should be working. As of this morning it is still not fixed and this is the 3rd time they have been out.

Not satisfied with Maintenance
I scheduled an appt. for Maintenance on two refrigerators and dishwasher. Worker pressed some buttons on the dishwasher and that was it. On the refrigerators, he checked the temperature and wiped around the rubber seals, that's it. In fact,all he bought into the house to work was pieces of paper towel and multi-surface cleaner. Wasn't sure, but is that the usual maintenance check? Worker spent more time on his phone than actually doing anything. I gather he was documenting the appt. I did sign off because I'm not sure what the maintenance check included. I felt like nothing was done. I was very unhappy with the service. Is this the new maintenance check? Would like to have someone else do the work.

Machine worked before he came, did not work after
Tech came to do diagnostic for washer making noise during spin cycle. He did a "diagnostic" testing on the panel display. The washer stopped working. It would at least work before, but was noisy. After he touched it, the drum would only rotate, wouldn't fill with water or advance through the cycle. Instead of getting a repair, I now have to replace the washer. Paid the "diagnostic fee" even though nothing was diagnosed or repaired. Not happy. He was a nice enough guy, but I really got nothing for the fee I paid.

Noise in Dryer
I have had 4 service men come to fix the loud noise in my dryer and no one can fix it. How good are your service people if no one can fix the noise? You would think that someone is experienced enough to fix the problem. I will continue to call to the service department until someone can come out and fix this problem. I am not very happy about the results.

Service mixup
Call was placed for oven repair. Somehow cooktop was selected on a computer screen. Tech left without looking at our oven. Choice Home had to assign to a different company because A&E and Choice Home could not get computers to talk and could not bother to call each other. Nice no oven and thanksgiving in a few days

Asked us a ladder. Tape. Had no clue what he. Was doing.
He said he didn't know what to do. Dropped a screw into the drum of the washer. He said it was busted didn't know how to fix it

Concerns Not Addressed and Issue Not Resolved
Sam came to work on my GE fridge this morning. He was quick to replace the thermostat and worked on the condenser, then left. 8 hours later, the fridge was still unable to cool to the set temperature; it stayed at 41 degrees. There are also concerns of black mold with the fridge but he made mention that I should not replace it. Between the fridge being unable to cool to food safe temperatures and issues of mold, I do not feel safe keeping the fridge. The money spent on this service call would've been better served going towards a new unit.

Friday service
Sal was courteous but didn't do much. He did warn us that he might not be able to help. He said a new igniter would cost upwards of $400 and take 2 weeks to get. We felt these were not realistic estimates but couldn't dispute them. Sal didn't disassemble the oven to inspect the igniter. In general we felt he just wanted to get home on a Friday, noting also our appointment time was adjusted to later in the afternoon and we got multiple notices to cancel if needed. That didn't give us confidence that he would even show and we made arrangements to be home all day. With the pending holiday we felt we were hung out to dry. Our previous experiences with Sears have been very satisfactory so this was surprising. We will find another provider for future service.

Disrespectful and rude
Honestly I only went with Sears because I couldn't find anyone else to work on my Samsung dryer. The first time they came to "fix" the dryer the technician was an absolute nightmare. He was disrespectful and rude, and actually threw a temper tantrum. He fixed the dryer, then started to freak out and started to disassemble it. It was so unprofessional and honestly insane. They had to come out a second time because the repair didn't last more than 2 weeks, and they did nothing to fix it. Don't use this service.

Armondo gets ZERO stars
Your Technician did NOT show up for his appointment! He's an argumentative jerk. Overall, dealing with Sears has been a miserable experience :( My rating for Armondo is zero and my overall rating for Sears is one.
