I do feel this could have been turned over to another company sooner. I was informed today that Sears doesn't flush lines. I wasn't aware that was a possibility at the last visit. I was told it was condensation and to be sure to make sure both filters in place. Now I have to wait another week with water draining on the floor and damaging my floor

Wasted trip

The Tech, Robert, was/is great. The warranty service never sent us the needed parts. Cintricty is the worse service I have ever dealt with. 1st trip they sent parts for a microwave, but it was a double oven that wasn't working. 2nd trip no parts at all. Over 6 weeks without our oven. Who knows how much longer???

Showed up unprepared for the job and didn't really care

Showed up late for the job and didn't have the basic tools to complete the job. Sears home service is always a struggle we used them for refrigerator repair and were extorted for an additional part that was not covered because Sears would not replace the bad part without an additional new part being installed. It was a take it or leave it attitude. Request another vender if you get sears assigned to home warranty claim

service has not resolved issue with ice maker

Ice maker at first was slow. Now it dose'nt make any at all, Plus it makes loud clanking noise coming from the tray unit.

not pleasant

I was told by my aunts caretaker and Brother that this technician was very short with his responses to them and when his app. wasn't accepting my aunts check, he became frustrated at them, when my brother said he would go get cash. It was then that my brother remembered my aunt (who is challenged) does have a debit card and could pay with that. Not polite customer service!

Machine washer was leaking

Technician said he checked everything did a diagnostic test, said everything is bone dry inside the machine. He guaranteed it would not leak. It is leaking nothing has changed! Same problem exists! He stated he is overworked today and had double the work today than normal. Maybe he rushed to get to other appointments. Anyway machine is still leaking.

No shoe covers

Paul was very nice. Nothing against him, but this for the company. He didn't have any shoe booties/covers. We don't wear shoes past our front door and he just walked up the stairs with his shoes. It took me time to disinfect and clean everything. His shoes are worn everywhere and in other people's homes and I think sears should provide shoes covers for them. At least ask if people mind or not before entering.

Very very poor scheduling and communication

1. Tech did stated repair. But now has multi colored display instead of original all white. 2. Appt was scheduled for the 18th. Have MULTI texts and emails stating so. I even called on the 17th to verify cuz I had to make arrangements for someone to be home. Called on 18th and asked for tech to call me 2X. No call, no show on the 18th!!!! Then on the 19th at 703am I received a text stating my appt has been confirmed. I didn't reschedule nor did someone call me to reschedule. Sears arbitrarily scheduled it. I had to scramble to have someone home at last minute. This was my first time using the sears home protection plan I purchased. Not a good start! Having doubts about my decision to purchase plan.

Tech did not make any attempt to repair

Tech arrived 15 minutes after the appointment window. He did not do anything besides look at the hood briefly through the cabinet door and without touching anything below the counter declaring the motor is dead (although we can clearly hear some activity from the motor and see some movement of the pop up hood). He made no attempt to look at actual parts/motor and see if there could be an alternative explanation or at least do something to verify that the motor was actually permanently nonfunctional. Then to top it off, he rudely protested about any possible delay to his prompt departure by my request to have my husband pay the invoice on line. Demanding that I pay the service invoice immediately on site because he "works for a living". I can accept the the hood may irreparable, but the cursory evaluation and subsequent rude comments were unacceptable and led to a very unsatisfactory customer experience.

Do your basic job!

Second appointment. Plus a virtual appointment in between. He assured me he ran a trial, but how could he have?!? As soon as he leaves, I start a load of laundry & get error code & it doesn't work! This after I mopped up a ton of water UNDER my washer! I'm 71 years old & had to pull the washer back out & mop, mop, mop…he left it there! I checked the water faucets to washer, and sure enough they were left turned OFF! Double checked by searching the error code & yes, he had left them off! I nearly had a melt down, because it has been weeks without a washing machine & I have a ton of laundry & hosting family reunion this weekend! Nice kid, but needs to learn the basics again!!! If I could've talked with someone sooner, I'd have had him come back out & repair his own mistake!!!
