Technican was great diagnosed problem order right part and when I finally got a way to contact A&e service ie. sears home service , it went well. Problem was the service order I got from a&e didnt work on we site. There was no phone number to reach a&e . I could not confirm I got the part . I had to call my service contract provider 5 times to finally get sone there that said they would confirm appointment. I got a confirmation at 10:21 the next day and the tech showed up at 10:30 very bad system need way to contact service company directly I would not them for this reason!!!

Rick was great. The first tech that came out did not have a clue. Rick came out to install the parts the first tech thought was the problem. Rick found that she didn't get to the actual root cause. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is because of his association with A&E Sear Home Services. They have the most impersonal phone, website and overall support. You are not allowed to talk to anyone live except on chat. On chat they only have so much information (and I think most of them are overseas). If a part is backordered (like mine was), they only notify you thru email that the part is delayed with no estimated date. Several agents I conversed with would or could not find an estimate until the last one (I think her name was Karen Green) was able to tell me the part would ship in the next couple days and would be arriving this week. If I clicked the status of my service on Monday(8/7/23), it still said the part was still on backorder while I had the part in my hands. I would find another company to fix your appliance. Their customer service just plain sucks. But if A&E sends Rick, at least you got one that will figure it out.

I provided all the information on the problem including model and serial number in advance. You should have type of "triage" by phone with something like this as Walton came in and quoted the repair cost which then took it out of the realm of possible solutions given the cost. A new machine makes more sense which could have been accomplished with someone actually looking at what we said was wrong and avoid Walton having to come out.

Communication with Sears is terrible, you can not talk to a real person. Repair service guys were nice. But our freezer drawer is not on right and the water to our drink dispenser is not working. So could have been more thorough.

Daryl A. Was very professional. He did his job but the part didn't fix my problems with my machine. I called with 30 minutes or less to allow choice home warranty And it's still not fixed 5 or more weeks later after my call on June 16, 2023. After talking with costumer service and 3 different supervisors that they all gave me the run around and Sears saying they had no time to come back. Choice Home warranty. Decided to take my payment a day after our payment agreemen and dropped my case. Leaving me in a very big bind knowing I was on a fixed income and my house hold ranging from 14 to 1. SMH
