Good service
A nice, clean cut young man replaced a control board for the third time. It works just like the one before it, or I should say it does not work any better than the last one. But the refrigerator works. It is just that the gage does not read correctly. He used his gun to check the temperatures in the frig and freezer. They were working properly. We have separate gauges in both sections and they are reading the proper temps, so we will live with this until the refrigerator won't cool anymore.

Francisco did very well. Interesting that he had to borrow a towel from me, just like your first guy who found the problem, to capture water from the repair. My complaint is with your scheduling system. While most places let one schedule within a 2 or 4 hour window, you always say 8-5 and I can't find out actual arrival time until the morning of the visit.

Edwin is efficient. Nice guy. Represents Sears and Kenmore. Same issues as last service call (leaking water on floor from refrigerator} When tech arrived at door I ask him if he had booties .. please put them on I offered to give him a pair than he says he has booties. Hes not aware of his dirty tools that were leaving black marks on my floor.. marks hard to remove. When he was leaving I noticed the booties he supplied and wore had ripped big holes and dirty, told him he needed to get a new pair.

My review is more for the structure and not so much Albert who stepped into a situation that was already brewing. I was scheduled for weeks out for my broken fridge. I am a family of 5 so this was a MASSIVE issue. The tech came and ordered parts that were on backorder (pandemic related which has caused delays in every industry), the parts came earlier and I installed myself and was missing a screw. I kept my appointment for the end of October in place and figured I'd wait, I was given an 8-5 window and took the day off only to be rescheduled at 4:15pm for a week later same time frame. I think 8-5 window in this day and time is ludicrous. Albert called at 5:30 or so from an 8-5 window and asked if he could reschedule as he was running behind and had two other jobs. I expressed discontent and told him I only needed a screw and he graciously rearranged and made my appointment work. I am extremely grateful to him as another reschedule would have absolutely been ridiculous. I think systems should be tweaked a bit and utilize technology a bit more to avoid inconveniences and cause minimal disruptions to the customer. Thank you for accommodating Albert

The technique did well. Sears, not so much... in fact I will NEVER use Sears again. Period. Full stop. The communication was horrible and non-existent: there is no way for an individual to reach a living person, if not via my home warranty, and even then they couldn't garner any information. I was promised follow up phone calls and/or emails to update me on the shipping of a VERY DELAYED PART (a part that I was able to find on many websites... with over night shipping no less). The scheduling of appointments was given a window of 8-5, with the first appointment date resulting in me getting a phone call at 4:45pm telling me the technician wouldn't be arriving. I could go on, but I've wasted enough of my time on this horrible company. No wonder Sears is truly dead.
