My refrigerator stopped cooling/working & making a loud noise like a generator. I was still within the 1 year time frame & called for assistance, in which a technician came out to asses the situation, ordered several parts & rescheduled another time to install the parts. A different technician Cody came out to install the parts. The next day my refrigerator was now cooling & was still making a lowered version of the generator noise. After about 3 days another part arrived at my house, related to the repair. I called to schedule another appointment for 1- install, 2-alert them of the remaining noise as well as 3-inquire about food loss compensation. The agent receiving the call advised me that the technician did not notate the account properly & only indicated that the issue was a loud noise & NOT that the refrigerator wasn't cooling. I continued to schedule the appointment for the install of the last part & continual noise. After 2 days I called to inquire about when someone would be coming out & they advised me that the ticket had been cancelled & that they will reschedule another appointment. The same technician Cody came back, & told me that the part was extra and not needed. I asked about the noise, in which he said, but your refrigerator is working fine, & noises occurs & it's even in the manual. I advised him that it has NEVER made this noise until the time that it stopped working & now it's random & it's only 1 years old. He said there's nothing he can do. I also advised him that the notes needed to be updated because I was told by Samsung warranty that they were incomplete with regards to what the actual issue was, because they said I'm not eligible for food loss compensation because the technician ONLY indicated that the problem was that the refrigerator was making a noise & not that it wasn't cooling. We went back & fourth trying to explain but he said he could not update those notes because that ticket has already been closed.

Job not completed

I been waiting for several months to Sears fix my washer. When finally Javier show up, i was relieved that my washer would be fix but i was wrong. Javier and his partner did not complete the job, they told my wife that they could not take out some screw and that they have to order them and left. As for now, i haven't seen the order number nor a reschedule date in their website. So here I go again, calling another country 🙄 to figure out what the heck is going on. Perhaps Javier doesn't deserve one star but he is the face of the company.

Service provider arrived and came off as a bit confrontational and put out. Parked in a neighbors driveway and when asked to move into our driveway and provided space he begrudgingly moved and then parked blocking the driveway and partially in the road. Once inside he was less than interested to investigate the issue with dishwasher. Checked unit for a very brief time and because he didnt immediately hear the issue basically decided it was an undiagnosed issue at this time and there was nothing he could do. He gathered up parts that were shipped to our house for repairs and then left within maybe 5 minutes of his arrival. We are completely disappointed with the attention (lack there of) and service provided. We were already hesitant that the service provider to check the unit was changed and this just solidified what we feared.

Our repairs were delayed for weeks then after confirmation, 1 ring call at 0800, then a confirmation text at 0830 saying they'd be there between 0800 and 5pm , and a no show , so we still need the repair.

Never Fixed

Do NOT call Sears to "repair" any appliances. The technician came out 3 times to fix my LG refrigerator. Extremely expensive, unprofessional and it was never fixed! I highly recommend that you call another company……avoid Sears at all costs.

Have home warranty through cinch who uses Sears and I've had 3 service calls doe same issue that isn't yet functioning properly and it very difficult to get in contact with Sears
