ice maker
initial call was made because the ice maker was not making ice. initial technician determined that water valve was not working and ordered a replacement water valve. The technician did not test the ice maker. Bruno came today (8/23/24) to install replacement water valve. Problem #1 - the replacement valve was slightly different … no mounting bracket. Problem #2 - the water line could not be mounted to the water valve because the connection on the valve was different when compared to original. Problem #3 - Bruno did not test to see if water was going through replacement water valve to ice maker. Problem #4 - ice maker is still not producing ice. Bruno did the best he could with installing replacement water valve as this was his assignment. Now that the valve was replaced, the original problem still exists. Someond needs to determine if water is flowing thru valve to ice maker and determine if ice maker is working. Please schedule a new technician that will determine what is wrong.

Completely Unreliable and Unprofessional
1st appointment, wouldn't return my call after I only missed his by 5 minutes. Refused to answer multiple calls and cancelled the appointment. 2nd appointment - no contact and a no show - he cancelled the appointment the next morning 3rd appointment - no contact and a no show - he cancelled the appointment the next morning Absolutely infuriating and pathetic. Costs me over $200 in vacation each time to take off work. Waited 2 weeks between each appointment. Wasted 1.5 months of time. I'd fire him.

Dissatisfied
First Extremely late. Second Talked on the phone during service visit. Third I had to leave for a doctor appointment, repairs was not properly completed. After m16 hours my refrigerator is still not cooling properly. Problem ongoing since June!

Refrigerator repair
Appointment was between eight and 12 didn't get here until after four had to get somebody in to sit and wait for the tech to come and there is no way to get in touch with the tech. Filter still leaking. I explained when the tech first came to check it out that, a check before him said the filter itself gasket was damaged and all I needed was a new filter. But the filter I had was new and it was only leaking a little bit so I put a pan under it and emptied it once a week don't appreciate wasting the whole day waiting for a tech to come , my time is just as valuable as you as there is

Terrible service
He wiped up my floor with my dish towel and ruined it. Who does that? He pulled my dishwasher out from the cabinet and damaged th cabinet where it fits into. He does not know what he is doing and has no regard for personal property.

Kory W and Sears get a Zero
Kory W and Sears would get a Zero if the system would let me. I have been in AZ with no AC for 8 weeks thanks to Sears. Kory W has just added to the misery. Including today, Sears has been a no show 3 times. Today Kory W was supposed to show between 8:00AM and Noon. I got several messages throughout the morning telling me that I would be next and that the technician would call when he was on his way. At 2:30pm I got a message saying the technician had been and gone. I also got a receipt with an "X" for a signature that was not written by me. I was sitting by the door all day as I work from home and Kory did not visit my home, text me or call me. I contacted Sears who said that Kory had closed my work order and that they could not help even when I told them he hadn't been to my house. The sad thing is that Sears claim that the Tech will Phone or TXT when they are on their way or at the residence. In the case of Kory this is a lie, as he did not call or TXT at any time. Furthermore when Kory was already 2.5 hours overdue, you would think he would have made an extra effort to call when at my door. In summary Sears don't care about no shows and letting you down, and if Kory W is assigned to your repair be prepared for him not to call or TXT to say he is on his way, and in all likely hood he will probably not show.

Poor customer service
Technician was not respectful, treated my work order like I was just a number. In addition, falsely reported diagnosis to my home warranty company causing them to deny my claim. Definitely will not use Sears Home Services again.

Blew up after service
The air conditioning unit that he recharged blew up 3 hours later.

Waste of Time
Kay showed up and explained to me that the mfg and myself had no idea what we were talking about and he had been doing this 7 years! Once the oven was confirmed to be doing exactly as described and mfg told him to install the part they sent, he told me that won't fix it and just buy a new $5,000 range instead and left.

Terrible service; not fixed
This is the third time Sears has come out to try and fix my machine. He wouldn't call the warranty company to clarify terms and left without fixing my machine. I don't recommend Sears to repair your washing machine!!
