The attitude was surprising, the quote was absurd, the timeline was unrealistic. Really disappointed.

This serviceman came to our home to evaluate our refrigerator. The first thing he does is "where's the bathroom" and started roaming our home. After then, he started making crude, inappropriate, sexual innuendos towards my wife and said he knows what's wrong with the refrigerator BEFORE he even opened the refrigerator - Because the refrigerator is in bad need of attention because of sudden failure of the freezer - my wife, by a distance, allowed him to open the refrigerator. All the while, my wife was cautious and gave me a call. The serviceman knowing that I was placed on a call - he calls his supervisor and returns and states to us "you are scamming SEARS and they will not warranty this work" . I was on the call and asking for more information and he stormed out of the house. My wife was relieved she was safe upon his departure but felt the whole experience was bizarre. I would be very careful, in spite having SEARS on their shirt - it does not guarantee expertise and safety to the homeowner and being accused of being scammers. Maybe this is how SEARS operate their warranty program

My repair experience

Dexter is well spoken he spoke right around my refrigerator problem and why it's not working. I still don't know what wrong with my refrigerator. He suggested that I unplug my refrigerator for 24hours then plug it back in and see what happens. Nice guy but I hope I never see him again.

Never showed up

Never called the whole day called after 6pm and thought he was fixing a range it's a dryer said someone messed it up @lowes. I had to call and reschedule. Now have to wait another wk for service. If he would have checked in like they say he will I cold have fixed it earlier.

Didn't take it apart

He didn't take anything apart. He ran it a little bit and then he was looking up on his cell phone. Didn't seem competent. He diagnosed a bent shaft on my Roper washer without taking off the cover or anything. There's a spring missing, not a bent shaft. He is either incompetent or he just didn't want to work on it.

Awful

I scheduled a repair to clean out my dryer vents. I assumed they were clogged with pet hair and I stated so on the initial scheduling form. I received a text after scheduling and it said please describe your issue. I said the same - clothes aren't drying need vents and dryer cleaned out. Guy comes to my home and does his diagnostics and says that the ignition light isn't staying on and one of the causes could be the vent is backed up (yes I know) and he says it's over $500 to replace. I said no I just wanted someone to come clean the vents and dryer and he says I don't do that - that's a different department. So not sure why he's here and why I just got charged $135 when I mentioned on the initial scheduling form I needed the dryer cleaned!!!

The Absolute Worst!!!!

Alex was a complete inconsiderate person who didn't even try to help us. After waiting a week for someone to come to check our AC. My guard gate keeper calked to say he was there. I was literally 5 minutes or less from home. I asked if he could wait 5 minutes. He said no and left. Again, I never even got the communication that he was coming. My window was 8a-5pm.

I have escalated this with GE Customer Support. The technician was extremely unpleasant, almost menacing. Before we could even get started, he asked me to sign an electronic document, of which I could not see the text. Kenneth was visibly annoyed that I requested to see such document and when I asked him to ask his back office to see if they could supply any document I'd sign, he left and slammed the door. My lovely tenant told me that if she'd been there alone she would have e felt very uncomfortable. I have over 40 doors in Lamar County and I would not want this person to atep foot on any of my properties again.

I scheduled a service for my dryer explaining the code that indicated vent blockage (flow sense). I explained all that to the phone person, waited a week for the service man to come and he said it sounds like a vent blockage and he didn't clean vents, only fixed machines. He did nothing, told me to call an air duct company to have the ducts cleaned. He left after about five minutes and was not very friendly.
