Your dispatch system is the worst in the industry!

First, we have a service contract for multiple appliances that we are not renewing. We have had ongoing problems with an old dishwasher. After finding that a circuit board had burned up and a new, or used, board could not be found, they finally sent someone to come and take the board to ship it off to be rebuilt. They only did this after several phone calls to find out the status of a replacement board. The board repair took 6-8 weeks when we were told to expect 4. After the board and other parts were delivered, it took FIVE service appointments to get someone to complete the repair. Each time, someone had to be home ALL DAY. I would use the provided link to track the serviceman. Each time the ETA would get moved back repeatedly during the day until it got so late that the system would reschedule the appointment. The first time it got rescheduled a week later. The second time it got rescheduled a week later. The third and fourth time the rescheduling was only a day later. Each time someone had to be home all day. There were also at least 2 times we had no show appointments for service calls before the circuit board was pulled. This entire process took right at 4 months. It should be noted that the various servicemen were very professional during actual service calls around this matter. It's the background people and systems that reach a new low in incompetent customer service. We are done with Sears. Unfortunately, the brick and mortar Sears stores that I shopped at for 40+ years, with quality products and caring people, are gone for good. The sooner what's left dies completely, the better.

terrible communication

clayton did not call as he stated and definitely did not knock on door as somebody was home watching for him and alarm on driveway never sounded that someone was there

I'm sure he was professional, & such, my partner was the one who was home, Anyway, the dryer only works for about 2 min then shuts down again, now the lights flicker & quit too though, i think I'd like another visit from the technician with the price i paid.

Poor service, poor communication

Terrible service. I have waited for a tech to show up on 2/10 then was told it would be 2/12 then was told today and at one point was told it wouldn't be until 2/28! I had asked service provider to have Curtis call me and I would give him "simple" directions to my home but, instead, he chose to claim my address was "inaccessible " and closed the order! I have been receiving emails from sears showing the "work that was done" along with a copy of "the order I signed". Obviously I signed nothing as he never showed ! There are at least 50 homes in this area and no one has any trouble driving the road. And for him not to call me to get directions is beyond unprofessional!

Dishwasher repair

The tech was scheduled 2/13. Never called or showed up. After my sister sat at my house waiting. Then at 5pm, I got a message saying my visit was reschedule to 2/14 per my request. Which was a lie. I was never contacted. So then I had to arrange again for someone to wait at my house. That is very unprofessional. Having no availability during the weekend or afternoon is a hindrance and then after making arrangements no one shows up.

Worst experience ever!

If I could I would give a -5 star review. The technician did not show up twice and was not even able to make an appointment with the customer but closed the work order as successfully repaired. Seems like lying and not existing work effort is the standard here. Do not waist your money on an insurance for your washing machine cause it won't get fixed by the end of the day. You will be better off to keep the money in your savings account and use it to fix the appliance when needed. Worst service ever.

Highly disappointed

I am so upset with sears service it's been 1 year since I was told by David that if I rebuild my icemaker instead of buying a new one it will work perfectly a d since I have the home warranty they will come out anytime to fix it I ha e to be paying monthly to keep the plan and has to keep calling them every 2 weeks to a month to try fix said ice maker . Don't trust sears they are a rip off . I will cancel my plan . 1 yr later hundreds of dollars gone over 12 tech visit and it's still not work .I'm so so disappointed don't use sears .

Poor experience

Took ovrr 2.5 months and over $400 in parts ordered to be told we they coukd not repair and we need a new dishwasher. Simply outrageous and suspicious in my opinion. Also did not show for some appointments without notifying us. Would NOT recommend

Unfortunately Ereks Risidio ST9120U Failed

Dear Sirs: The device Erek was given to install disabled my furnace !!! To say the least I am not a happy customer. It seems I was told to reschedule a RECALL. So this scheduling event can not occur until 2/15. Erek was given a device by the name of Risideo ST9120. At this time I can't turn on my Heat and the Air blower will not turn off !!! Please send a more seasoned experienced Tech out here that will test the unit completely before he leaves my home to make sure it's absolutely functional and will validate the Condenser outside will turn on and off. Thank you !!! Let's PLEASE GET IT RIGHT THIS TIME. As I said I have no heat! ALSO PLEASE RETURN WITH THE PART THAT WAS REMOVED ! Thank you. Philip Holbus
