Cedric did a thorough of diagnosing the problem on our refrigerator. I knew it might be difficult since the problem was intermittent and on the day he arrived it had not shown itself. But he did find the cause after about an hour and stated that a replacement part would be needed. After he told me the estimated cost for the part and labor and that it could take up to 4 weeks to obtain the part, I decided to decline the repair and just replace the refrigerator.

Noah was great but your ordering and delivering parts is not working for you. Too many times the repairman showed up without the parts or had to return the parts before he could come to the job. Once the parts showed up at my house without a repair order. It took months to get my refrigerator fixed.

After no less than six repair calls and more than six repair appiontment cancellatiins by Sears, and not having a working refrigerator since 12-29-2024 (that's FIVE MONTHS!) Sears sent out Ben, their only repairman that knows what he is doing! After he came out to access the problem, which he said was continuing because the other Sears repairmen put in TWO new parts wrong, he ordered two new parts and came back only to discover one of the parts was still wrong! He jerry-rigged it and my refrigerator is now working, but for how long? I have been a loyal customer of Sears for decades but they are now terrible in service of their Home Warranty customers! Sears doesn't care that you have minor children in the home and are forced to live out of an ice chest for five months while also working full-time! Sears doesn't care that you lost two refrigerators and freezers full of food because their "repairs" were installed wrong and the refer went out within three days TWICE! Sears doesn't care that you pay them $70 a month for decades to keep your appliances running! I am so disallusioned with Sears! Thank God they have Ben, because all of their other repairmen are useless.
