The ice maker on our refrigerator was not working. Joel came out to determine what the problem was. He told us we needed a new ice maker and proceeded to order the part for us. The replacement parts were mailed to our house. He also set up another appointment to return and install the new part on the refrigerator. He was prompt and very knowledgeable in his service field. He made sure the new replacement part was working properly before leaving.

When the repairman showed up, he diagnosed the problem and fixed it very quickly. But the online experience left a lot to be desired. The arrival window was all day, 8 am to 5 pm. In the morning we got texts saying our technician was 2 stops away, and would arrive at 10:30. That changed to 11:15. Then no updates all day, and he randomly showed up exactly at 5 pm. That's not just frustrating, it's costly; I wasn't able to be home that whole time, and needed to pay my handyman to come and wait in the morning. During this saga, there was nobody to call, no human to talk to, no way to find out what was happening. Only a very limited AI bot and an option to cancel or reschedule for another day, when I would have to do it all again. I want to give 2 or 3 stars because of the stress around all this, but the question is about the provider who was great, and I don't want the app's deficiencies to reflect on him.
