Never showed up
This has been the absolute worse maintenance of an appliance ever. The technician has cancelled 3 times and today has never showed up. The parts have been here for months!

Unsatisfied with SEARS
The technician was fine, however, my problem isn't resolved. The technician ordered a valve for my range and when he went to install it he discovered that nothing was wrong with my current valve and that no gas was coming into the house. He said he didn't not check that on his initial visit and recommended I call a certified plumber to do the repairs . I called Chattanooga Gas, while the tech was still on site, and it was confirmed a certified plumber is needed. The technician took the valve he ordered with him when he left. First American Home Warranty is now denying my claim to have a plumber come fix the range because they said SEARS charged them for the valve, stated that the valve was installed and that the range is working. When I spoke with FAHW yesterday they said that SEARS stated that no plumber is needed because they repaired the range. I am still without a working range and now have to pay a plumber even though I paid FAHW to send someone to fix the range!

Left it broken
The repair person came to switch out a part to fix our oven which is under warranty. Instead he switched out the part and left the oven completely not working. And just left. He could have at least put the old part on that was marginally working so we could use it while Kenmore replaced or refunds us. This has been a really bad and long repair experience.

Called for repair of faulty burner on Jenn Air stove.
What a waste of time. He didn't bother to check the controls on the stove to determine where it was faulty. He told me that no part was available to repair the stove. Then he spent 30 minutes telling me about his aunt's house in New Jersey. He offered to sell me a warranty on my old refrigerator ( which needs a new seal) and my stove ( which has a faulty burner) . What?!! As he left he said if I found the part, he could return to install it and I wouldn't lose what I had already paid for the service fee. If the part was not available, as he said, how would I find it???? What a scam! Rip off!!

YIPPEE FINALLY FIXED SINCE 3/20 first appointment
Daniel fixed my stove after more than 12 scheduled repair appointments. He gets 5 stars. The repair program gets 0. Happy with the repair FINALLY. Your notification system is absolutely terrible. For each scheduled appointment I was held hostage at my home all day then finding out that the repair Technician isn't coming. If I had a job I would have used up all my vacation time, gone without pay or been fired to sit and wait for nothing. I received no notifications. I had to keep going back to the most recent text message to find out the status or update of my scheduled Technician arrival window / time. I would get a window of arrival time and the time would pass but the text message system would not update. I had to call to find out "Where is the Tech". This repair issue has been going on since March 20 , 2025 which was my first appointment scheduled but cancelled mid afternoon due to snow. However prior to that I waiting 3 weeks for Southwest Appliances to call me to schedule repair and they never called. Finally reached out to monogram to find out the status and they said that "Southwest appliances was to busy". This was the Vendor I bought 12 appliances from. Very disappointed Chet. Worse experience ever!!!

No service at all!
Sears home service is a SCAM! They take your money monthly, and when you need services/repairs; they make up new rules to deny service . I have a glass-top stove, it is three years old. After years of daily use, it simply cracked because of the constant heat. This is a heat-crack, which happens occasionally to these types of electric ranges. I called Sears for service, they sent Rafael. He came, took pictures and left, he didn't say much. Shortly after he left, I got a call from sears stating that they don't cover accidental damage. The gentlemen who spoke with me, was very rude! He cut me off several times as I tried to explain to him that the crack in the glass surface was a heat crack. I ask him "is there a supervisor that I can talk to", he told me that he's the only one that I will have to deal with. We ended the conversation with him telling me that the service is denied. I was very frustrated, I called back Sears, this time they told me that the policy does not cover electric stoves with glass top. This is the second time I had paid Sears home service premium and was denied service. Prior to this, I paid for a policy that covered my home air conditioner, I paid them thousands faithfully for years. Then in 2017 when I needed service, they told me that the specific service I needed was not covering. I've had too many bad experiences with Sears Home Service! I DO NOT RECOMMEND them at all!

You all booked the wrong repair type and despite two corrections in the texts you sent the technician said he was only going to fix a cook top not a dryer and left. The error came from your scheduling department
