Could not duplicate problem
Our gas oven has had a recurring problem for several years, but it's one that can't be duplicated so the repairman couldn't help us. I have multiple videos on my phone that show the large flames from the burner and on which you can hear the loud roar, but he did not seem interested or able to make a determination from the videos. I am concerned about a fire hazard, but he had no suggestions for us. Our extended warranty expires 12/17/24 so I guess I'm going to have to pursue this with Sears with the videos as evidence.

New stove issues GE
The tech said there was nothing wrong. I have owned 3 GE stoves and none of them left carbon on the fronts of my pans. The flame is higher in the front part and the flame orange. The repair man said the same thing after adjusting it 2 times. He recommended I call GE since it was 2 weeks old. The oven squeaks when it heats up. Once again, I have never owned a GE stove that made these noises. I don't know what is wrong, but I know it doesn't sound right and the flames shouldn't leave carbon on my pans.

Samsung Range Repair
Bryon was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. But I'm very disappointed with the part technician installed. The part is a generic heater for a GE range, the box was opened damaged with grease spots and dark stains on the outside of it, the part was not sealed in a the original plastic, the plastic bag had been ripped open and the heater/part looked tampered with and old, also it had two black markings on each cord and the cords looked discolored dingy old. I'm very dissatisfied and would like a brand new part that's specifically for my Samsung range and have a technician remove this one and replace it with the correct part.

Rude however was able to complete the task
It is quite unfortunate he was rude which is unprofessional on all parts since he seems like a good technician and fixed the oven such a shame please see documented comments with the repair service rep. Note it's been two weeks and I m still waiting for compensation for the inconvenience. Not good business practices.

3 techs, the first leaving with gas leaking
Since we had to have 3 techs out 3 times and the first obviously didn't check his work as the oven didn't work AND was leaking gas while we tried it. We needed to order parts. The guy left with the old parts which is suspect at best. Did he replace the parts. I marked them. Let's see if the tech did and does the right thing if he didn't !

Range repair
I was not happy with the service provided by Matthew. He replaced one of the surface regulator switches and it did not fix the problem. He preceded to tell me it was operator error and that the switch still functioned fine. I then showed him how it just spins and doesn't allow me to turn it off. He even had trouble with it and said that he was going to call the warranty company and he would be right back. He went and got into the truck and left without another word. He gets a star above 1 because he called me sir.

Stove
I wasnt impressed , he was unable to get behind my stove , my son assisted before he had to leave & repairman couldnt put stove back as it was before he came.

Very very poor scheduling and communication
1. Tech did stated repair. But now has multi colored display instead of original all white. 2. Appt was scheduled for the 18th. Have MULTI texts and emails stating so. I even called on the 17th to verify cuz I had to make arrangements for someone to be home. Called on 18th and asked for tech to call me 2X. No call, no show on the 18th!!!! Then on the 19th at 703am I received a text stating my appt has been confirmed. I didn't reschedule nor did someone call me to reschedule. Sears arbitrarily scheduled it. I had to scramble to have someone home at last minute. This was my first time using the sears home protection plan I purchased. Not a good start! Having doubts about my decision to purchase plan.

Not good!
My appointment was supposed to be 9/5, then changed to 9/6. I received a message saying between 8-12, never came until 4:45, stayed 5 minutes and said the heat coming from the top was normal, I've never had a gas stove getting so hot on the top. Said the peeling inside the oven wasn't covered under warranty, still should not be peeling. I do not believe that should be happening! Very disappointed.
