I appreciated that he showed me exactly where the gas shutoff for my oven was, and how I could turn it on and off if needed. Tho quickly diagnosed the problem, which was a controller board that is not made anymore. He suggested a reset procedure to remove power from the oven which might reset the controller board so the oven can be used for longer before replacement is needed.
