The charge was only 152 and the problem didn't get fixed. My tenant told me the tech charged her 200 dollars.

Don't know where you get your parts but he told me one part was 400 and the other was 300 plus 300 for repair I got both parts for less than 200. I will tell everyone I come in contact with to never call your company. I hope you enjoy the money you ripped me off for. You company really SUCKS in my opinion!! Ripoff Sears-A-E

No live person to talk too if Amy problem occurs.
My repair was closed with no knowledge and my fridge has was not.repaired . You can not speak no one its all by computer. Was told i had to start my claim all over again. Because the tech said there is no one to speak too. Its done by computer.

Terrible
Terrible experience using Sears Home Services. I do not recommend trusting service to a company that only cares about checking boxes and then just charging the fee. He did nothing at the appointment except talk about how I should have gotten insurance on our appliances. He didn't even look at the appliance. He heard what I described was the problem and decided that must be it. Ridiculous. I would like my money back.

The technician made us pay $16.04, even though we are covered by American Home Shield (AHS) and had already paid the AHS deductible. We explained that AHS was to pay all costs, but he still made us pay. We gave him $20 CASH to go away.

Called for service and was answered by a bot, ad said 1-2 days service took 3, very difficuld to confirm appt, tech arrived on time found problem but did not have the part and then proceded to try to sell us a bunch of products all costing me $139 never again what a scam!

DISHONEST TECHNICIAN - INSURANCE SCAM
I have used Sears Home Services for appliance repairs for years, including for repair to my dishwasher. In the past, I have been pleased with the service of various technicians. I did not have a home warranty in the past. However, Carolyn O. came to my house for the first time and told me that I needed a new dishwasher panel. She said that I should buy a warranty to cover this NEW problem with my dishwasher in order to save money, as the part cost over $400. She assured me and a family member several times that the part would be covered. I bought the warranty, and after the warranty became active she came to my house a second time. She did not bring the part. When asked why she did not bring the part, she said, "No one noted that a part was needed." At that point Carolyn O. told me she would "try to get me a new dishwasher." She said she wouldn't charge me a service fee for the visit. She said it would take 10-12 days for Sears to review her notes and contact me regarding the replacement. She said that I could "pick any dishwasher I want." Now Sears Home Warranty is telling me that the supposed control panel issue with my dishwasher is pre-existing based on Carolyn O.'s specific notes that this was a pre-existing problem prior to the start of the warranty! There must be a perquisite of some kind for her when she persuades a customer to buy a Sears Home Warranty in order for her to be so deceptive. I am leaving this review because she most definitely scammed me, and I hope to prevent this happening to someone else in the future. Buyer beware!

Horrible experience
When he first came in the house, he told me that he could not service my appliance. He then showed me that the brand was not listed on his phone app, but he was looking up the wrong brand. He did not show any knowledge of the product or how it worked. After a few minutes of having me operate the appliance for him, he showed me a bid of roughly $900. I said I needed to ask my husband, mostly because I had no confidence in this man's ability to repair my oven. He then informed that the company would never return and would never service my products. I asked him to leave and he insisted he could not leave until he was paid. I told him that I would pay him on the link he sent only when he left my home and was in his van. He would not leave. I walked to the front door and opened it and again asked him to leave. He refused again saying he could not go to his next job until he was paid. I again told him I would only pay the invoice once he was out of my home and in his van. He finally left after I asked him one more time to leave my home. The service is completely run by AI in the office and there was no one to speak with about my horrible experience with this man and company.

4808 St. Elmo, Chattanooga Service Request
We were given a huge window for service of 8am to 5pm. We stayed home all day. Then we received an update note to expect the technician to arrive before 4pm. At 4:57pm he called to say he was running late and wouldn't be there for 2.5 hours (or near 7:30 pm). This was not acceptable and we canceled and asked for a refund.

Oven repair
I was very disappointed. I was quoted a price that I would have to pay and when I tried to pay that amount there was an additional charge. I asked more than once the amount and was stated the same thing each time. The technician refused to take my check for the amount I was stated
