Terrible experience.
Misdiagnosed the problem initially. Installed a thermostat when the problem is the element-or so we think, don't really know because he never came back to install the new part. Worst experience ever. $532 and my oven is still broken. Run from Sears Repair.

Worst "service"
Marvin showed up to diagnose my stovetop, the burner was out. He looked at the stove, looked up the model number, turned the knob and said it would be $750 to repair the burner and knob. I asked why he thought the control knob needed repair and he said because I turned it and it didn't work. I said it works when you turn it the other way to control the inner burner, he shrugged. A replacement burner costs approx $150, this place is a total rip off. I'm out $139 "service fee" to have a guy come turn my control nob, he was here for 4 minutes. Don't hire!!!

Stove repair
Daniel explained the problem and what the cost would be to have Sears fix it. The price quoted was absolutely ridiculous- way beyond anything reasonable given the price of the part and the labor involved. I would never recommend Sears for any repairs. The one star rating is not for Daniel but for the company. Daniel was fine.

Did not fix my oven.
He entered my house saying "I've never worked on one of these before". My oven still does not work. Incredibly disappointing.
