Service Good, Prices Terrible
Service tech was professional and knowledgeable. However, the quote was ridiculous - half the price of my stove to fix an oven igniter. I grew up with Sears, but now I'll never call them again.

Left worse off
Called sears to replace my oven door which I had to purchase because Sears did not have it in stock. Technician forced the oven door and warped the hinges, we're going to have to fix it anyway.

VERY LATE
Showed up very late. Nice guy but showed up 3.5 hours after the scheduled time and never called to say he was running late. Not happy with sears service at all.

Double oven repair
Tech showed up. Rather that troubleshooting the oven he assumed the temp probe was bad. On the follow up call he replaced the temp probe and left before testing to see if the probe fixed the oven. It did not fix the oven. Same tech came out again after I reported the oven was still not working. He ordered more parts. Si ce that time service work has been scheduled 3 times and the tech has cancelled 3 times. This has caused me to miss 3 days work waiting on the tech to show only to have them cancel. The initial appointment was in December. It's late February and my oven has still not been repaired.

Lack luster service
Gave me the digital forms to sign without any proactive explanation of what was being signed. Didn't wait for door to be answered more than 80 seconds as captured on my video doorbell forcing me to reschedule.

Inexperienced in Smart Ovens
My repair person was inexperienced diagnosing the problem with my oven, he had to call 2 different people who had to walk him through and what to do. He couldn't give me an answer that was 100%, he wanted to just start replacing expensive parts and see IF that was the problem and quoted me over 1000 dollars . So I just bought a new oven..

Support system
Sears accepted an appointment to work on a brand of oven that they did not service. Spent 5 days no oven working before they said they could not order the parts Refunded the charges but both lost time. The technician did his job but frustrated

Confused

Took forever, charged 300 in labor for 15 minutes of work
Awful. Came late, overcharged us, but fixed the oven. Appointment said he would be there at 9. Arrived at noon with an attitude. Charged us 300 in labor for 15 minutes of work, after trying to dirty sell the warranty, not disclosing the 60 dollar charge was monthly. I feel like I got hustled and my day wasted. Thanks for nothing Sears. Never again.
