Not great
Fixed issue but was not kind. Very rude upon entering. Banged hard on my open door. Was not polite at all when giving estimate. Was very short with me.
Mike,
Wheaton, ILStill seeing if my oven will work properly
To be fair to the technician; we will wait and see if the oven's temperature will regulate. He put in a new ignitor switch. The evening of the service, our temperature was 100 degrees off. We will continue to monitor over the next few weeks to see if it gets better. The technician said that we need to calibrate the oven and that we could find instructions in the owner's manual. We looked in the manual and there was nothing about calibration. This is the first that we ever heard about us having to calibrate the oven. The technician also put in a new board to repair our digital clock. So far it is working.

The visit didn't yield a true answer to the issue although the readings for what he saw appeared that the oven was able to function appropriately. We used the oven on Saturday and it wasn't able to be reset as it had in the past. Rather than ask him back for a costly repair, we are going to purchase a new range. I'm not blaming the repair person but the problem wasn't able to be solved.

Frank was great and very professional. As for the whole process with my oven has been terrible. It took parts almost 2 months to get. I then went through hoops just to get an appt. Finally got one just so the service guy to tell me they were wrong. Now I'm being told that my oven will be replaced but don't know how long. I was hoping to have an oven by Thanksgiving but I don't think that will happen. This process has all started in July and here I am in October and no oven. The worst part has been no communication between Sears and the Warranty company. So disappointed!

Temple, TXBill was very courteous and had excellent customer service s
We had no issues with Bill, he was very professional and courteous. The problem with our stove however was not fixed with the repair done and then we were rescheduled 4 times for the second repair request. We eventually cancelled all requests and have opted to buy a new stove with a different manufacturer.
Jennifer N,
La Pine, ORVery polite but didn't resolve the issue.
The circuit board we received was broken, but technician didn't realize that and never tested the board either. Said the oven had been tampered with and couldn't work on it further. The circuit board had been replaced to resolve the original issue caused by a power surge. That was not the cause of the oven not working. Tried to say the oven wasn't on when he arrived, but it was. It wasn't working due to the broken circuit board.

The part cost nearly the price of a new stove, so after asking tech support, I decided to just buy a new one. Especially dealing with a 15 year old range.

Nathan got the problem right away - burnt out lower element. He said it would take almost $400 to fix. That sounded like way too much so we declined. Note - I got the text at 7:40 AM saying he was on the way. I drove right over to our rental and waited 40 minutes for him. It turns out he lived that far away in Illinois. It would be better to send a text when he is 5-10 minutes away.
