Technicians Are excellent

The technicians that do the repairs are excellent. Where this company falls short is due to the SEARS network administration. It's all Artificial Intelligence. Impossible to talk to a human. Over abundance of convoluted emails and texts that often contradict themselves to the point you can't tell what's going on, or what will happen. They're doing 2 repairs for us, and at this point we've received around 50-60 emails and texts that have us very confused. Again though, the repair technicians are EXCELLENT. Francis's professionalism and skills are very impressive. (The 3 stars are due to administration/communism.) Francis is 5 stars.

Kitchen Aid oven fan

The convection oven was working but the fan would not work consistently. It seemed like it was fixed after repair people came.. Then after half an hour the oven was giving an error message FE EO "call service main oven sensor open or shorted." Now i am unable to use the oven at all. It's very disappointing.

Oven Locks Up
May 08, 2026
Overall rating

Scheduled a technician to visit and troubleshoot our double-wall oven. It locks up occasionally without any reason or warning. The first tech scheduled was a no-show with no excuse or apology. The second tech we scheduled showed up, turned the ovens on, waited an hour, and, since the "occasional" problem did not present itself, stated there was nothing he could do and that we'd have to take a photo or video the next time it happened. Basically, we paid $100 for nothing. The first tech that arrived for an unassociated visit to troubleshoot our stovetop offered more information than this tech did. And I must say, attempting to have a conversation about a tech not showing up for a service appointment is a waste of time, as it was unable to comprehend the situation. Being able to speak with a human being when necessary would bump your level of service up to a standard, reasonable level.

Wasted time

When I set up this appointment, I was asked for a photo of my appliance, as well as the serial number and model number(which I provided….three times). I was told this would ensure that the correct parts would come with the technician the first visit, and if parts were not available, my appointment would be rescheduled so as not to waste anyone's time. I was thanked for providing the information, and told that I would receive a confirmation on my appointment. When I received verification of the appointment I figured the part(s) would be coming along. My window to wait the day of my appointment was 8-3. John arrived between 4-4:30. He opened the bottom drawer of my stove and took a photo of the serial number and model number. I told him that I had already sent those over so that parts could be ordered and brought the first time. He NOT received that information, so he drove all the way from Canton to Mansfield….basically for nothing, and I lost an entire day (and now had to wait for the parts to be ordered and schedule another day to wait.) John(the technician) was great and made sure that he got to me as early as he could on our scheduled day. I appreciate your help in fixing my appliance, but I think things should have been organized better so that I (the customer) didn't have to lose so much time…not to mention the time it takes for the technician to run from one place to another and not get anything accomplished. We. Hold all have saved a second trip. I rate John as a 5 star since he did what he could to make things happen and save me from losing 2 whole days!

Jeffrey seems to have been "muscle " to help the primary tech pull the oven out of the wall. This repair took 3+ weeks because he didn't have the right tools and ordered the wrong part initially. I will not renew my service plan nor recommend Sears to anyone.

Scott was excellent - Sears not so much

When we scheduled this appointment, we were told that the technician would arrive between 8AM-12PM. The technician arrived at 3:30PM - so we lost a whole day waiting around for them. Scott himself was excellent and fixed our stove. I just didn't like waiting around all day. I will have to find another appliance repair person.
