Ov÷n repair
Jeffrey seems to have been "muscle " to help the primary tech pull the oven out of the wall. This repair took 3+ weeks because he didn't have the right tools and ordered the wrong part initially. I will not renew my service plan nor recommend Sears to anyone.

When we scheduled this appointment, we were told that the technician would arrive between 8AM-12PM. The technician arrived at 3:30PM - so we lost a whole day waiting around for them. Scott himself was excellent and fixed our stove. I just didn't like waiting around all day. I will have to find another appliance repair person.

Augustine looked at our oven, but did not see anything wrong with it. There is still a heavy smell of gas and the oven thumps from time to time. I believe that there is still some form of incomplete ignition that is causing the issue. I ran the self clean cycle and it seems that the smell of gas is decreasing, but am concerned about the thumping. Kind of a woof sound like when your gas lights on the stove top or in the bbq. I'd like to speak with another technician if possible.

The welds on my oven rack side sliders that hold up the oven racks had failed so the racks tilted sideways. The first service technician inspected the oven and ordered the parts which came in time for my appointment. I was given about an hours notice that my installation appointment would not take place due to lack of technicians in my area. A week later, a technician did come over and replace the sliders on both sides of the oven. The repair was completed. Because of the very short notice I was given about rescheduling the second appointment I would give Sears a rating of 3 for Customer Service. The technician himself did a fine job repairing the oven.

He was not very friendly. Spoke very short with us. Seemed annoyed to explain things. Didn't really feel comfortable with him in our home.

The technican performed his job as expected. However, when I submitted my request I explained to customer service representative my issues with limited mobility and that I needed to notify prior to his arrival. This didn't happen,And as a result of this the technician appeared to be leaving prior to me getting to the door, i recommend that your company follow closely to the instructions given by those who are disabled,

The first guy came a day late and said he would order parts. He asked what was wrong with the stove, looked for a serial number but didn't do anything else. He sat in his car for over an hour and I told him we were going out first lunch. When we got back he was gone. I got a message that he came and we weren't home. The next guy came and was very thorough. He said he would order parts and they would come to the house. We set a day one week later to have the parts installed. In a few days the parts arrived. He came as planned and replaced the parts. Stove working. While Sears did tell me when the repair person was coming, the time changed multiple times during the day. I believe they have a shortage of repair people in Cape Coral.

My seven year old LG oven decided to quit two parts needed to be replaced and the total came up to over $670 dollars. I found that the labor cost were quite high when the parts were not that much. I'm considering a different range or repairing this stove on my own Mohammed communicated via email and telephone nicely. His strong Indian accent was sometimes difficult to understand but we got through it. He was very respectful and kind. Thank you Mohammed for a great job. It was nice meeting him.
