very bad experience
Isaiah E came to the follow up appointment. Part were ordered by my initial tech Shane who diagnosed my microwave and ordered parts. Shane ordered magnetron, thermostat, fuse, and capacitor to be replaced. Isaiah came and decided to ignored Shane's diagnosis and said only fuse needs to be replaced. Even after I asked him multiple times he claimed other parts does not need to be replaced. Again, he only replaced fuse and send back the other parts. Couple weeks later microwave shorted sparks went and the entire microwave burnt. If Isiah would replace all ordered parts that would have never happed. Another tech came back to 4th follow up appointment said I will receive a replacement. I never did! Beware of this terrible appliance service as they will damage and leave you with high replacement bill.

Disappointed
Paul never showed , although I got a message that he had arrived. Parts still in box, no repair. Now I get notification that job is complete. I need to hear from him. Job #000816940520496

Repair service
Got a call at 4:30 pm , he told me he wouldn't make it today. He had the circuit board sent to my house , I received it. Microwave still working. He said he could replace it if it stops working. If it doesn't break , he will replace it next year. I'm fine with that. Not sitting at home anymore!

Broken Microwave Handle
Your technician came to my home to look at a Microwave handle that broke loose at the bottom. He was sent through a Home Warranty which I had at the time. I was not present as I was unaware that he was coming on a Saturday as I had made other plans. My wife and her sister was home when he came. I was declined coverage through my Home Warranty Company as it was determined that the door was broken due to force and not wear an tear. The microwave was made in Dec. 2019. Neither one of us pull on the handle with any force. I am at a loss on how that was determined. Not happy at all on that was determined.

Worst tech
It should be zero star!!!!! He was honest enough to let me know that he doesn't have much experience with garbage disposal. He watched youtube to attempt to repair it. Which he was unsuccessful. He just looked at the microwave for 5 minutes, didn't even attempt to try to fix it. He spent more time calling Sears than getting the problem fix. Even then he couldn't get hold of anyone. It was very pitiful to watch and comical too.

dissatisfied with the service
The technician replaced the fuse but never said why the fuse is blown. It's not the first time it's been replaced. It's obvious that there's a problem inside the microwave. I don't understand why they don't check it more thoroughly or wait for a short and bigger damage.

Unsatisfactory
He never showed up between 8-5. He did call at 7 pm. Said he was on his way. I said never mind. Lost a whole day because of no communication. Need to reschedule and make sure the tech will be here between 8-5. Also a 9 hr window sucks. This needs serious improvement.

microwave repair
Burning smell coming from microwave which he diagnosed as problem with transformer. However, the same smell continued to come after the transformer change and asked to review again, refused to acknowledge the problem and got angry!

Highly disappointed in Sears
While I won't blame all my frustration on Warren, I did find it quite irritating that he he seemed determined to make me feel like an idiot for scheduling a service call for my 13 year old Advantium. I am even more irritated, however, that I received two solicitation calls prior to the appointment acting as though they were confirming the appointment but really calling to peddle the insurance program. And then even worse was the fact that I committed to the ridiculously high $249 service fee (noting that solicitor #2 said 'oh no - it won't be over $150 - $250 is crazy high') only because it would be applied to the cost of the repair. So I feel like I was completely taken advantage of given the part I needed was no longer available. I feel that Sears should the allow me to apply the $249 to the purchase of a replacement. I am VERY unhappy with my experience and will not look to Sears for repairs or to replace my appliances (the rest of which are Kenmore Elite) in the future.
