Company failed
Duane was very professional and completed his job efficiently. BUT, the company failed to show up the day before for an appointment, even after I talked to customer service who said someone would be here before the end of the day. Very difficult to communicate with anyone, I just got online and rescheduled after not hearing anything about the day before. They said they showed up and had a picture of a house that was not mine, I was there all day and no one called or came by. I would give them a ZERO for that.

Nothing against Phillip
This tech is the third person to show up or contact me about my Microwave. The FIRST tech told us that the unit was UNFIXABLE!!!! He said he would provide all the information to the company and get the ball rolling. I have now had 2 more Techs one showing up at the house and another just yesterday calling before coming out THAT NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON!!! NOT HAPPY !!!!!

Nothing happened
My request was closed but no repairs were made. I wasted time making sure I was home from work. Nothing was resolved and no next step was provided but Sears was very efficient sending emails closing the ticket and asking me for feedback. Is any of this being read by a human?

Fixed a problem but created another
Mr. Donald W was very nice. He fixed the microwave turntable motor in no time and had me test it before he left. Little did I know that in repairing the turntable he messed up the under the hood light.

That technician was not supposed to be allowed in my house
Imagine my surprise when I saw Jermaine listed as my technician when specifically on my account he is not to ever be assigned to my home but I got the call from Matt who is lovely by the way I at least felt comfortable that Jermaine would be in my home with someone else there otherwise if it was Jermaine by himself, I would not let him in as I was left feeling so uncomfortable. The last time he was in my home he was rude nasty, yelling at me did not want to work was leaving my refrigerator apart derogatory to woman and still upon seeing me again he never apologized, please note my file for Jermaine not to be allowed in my home. I do not feel safe.

Disappointed when using Sears Home Protect
This is my first time using the service that I signed up for, and my microwave was not covered due to some edge case reason. I always here that I should not sign up for these types of protections due to the unknown limitations and I guess folks are correct, it feels like a scam. I most likely will not be renewing based on this experience. Tran was fine and he's just sharing the news he got from his manager. This as a simple issue to fix and because it's a certain microwave it was declined.

Never was an Omar here. There was a Steve just here with a helper. They replaced the magnetron and capacitor and rehung the unit. After he left, I tried it, and the cavity light is not working. I need the cavity light working and I am not paying for any more parts and labor. When someone comes to fix the cavity light, they can pick up the Diode that I already paid for, and they did not use. Ii need a credit issued for it. It is still in the original packing. This experience with Sears Service has been horrendously bad. I do not blame it on your service men. They have all been very nice. Your dispatching and service reps don't appear to know their right hand from their left. Your first service man was here on 9/10/23. It took 116 days for you to get the few parts changed. Your markup on the parts is absolutely ridiculous. I cannot recommend your service to any friend.
