Home warranty protection plan should Never be used , sears should just die off. Service requested 4-8-25. Replaced 7-12-25. Still not working, needs parts. Two weeks still no parts. Sears said they can't install my oven (contract states instal and remove) because they don't have a technician in my area. Pittsburgh Pa. Told them my oven is ELECTRIC, PLUG IT IN. note oven was finally delivered by Cisco to my garage, they would not remove my old or install.. over 20 hrs on phone with non English speaking people who have no supervisors.

The first technician never showed up or called to reschedule. The second technician misdiagnosed the issue and pushed a home warranty instead of proper repair guidance. The third technician acknowledged the initial error, then broke another part without my consent, and attempted to charge me an additional $180 for repairs he caused. When I asked how to speak to a supervisor or manager, I was told the only option was to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This response—combined with the lack of resolution and accountability—makes it clear that the service operating under your name is failing your customers and damaging your brand's reputation. I have paid $379 for a service that has made my situation worse. My microwave is still not functioning, and I am now forced to seek outside help.

The person who you sent was fine given the circumstances of the pathetic situation that occurred Why did you not respond with a human representative instead of this waste of time yours and mine You wouldn't replace the handle for the door because it was cosmetic Wow we don't need a door Call me to order parts for which I asked for to begin with If not then I'll know not to use your company for nothing

Patrick told me that the warranty does not cover the flickering on my microwave display because it is cosmetic. I paid $100 deductible, but I was denied a refund when I called about the matter. I also paid $100 deductible for my refrigerator repair. A repair was unnecessary. Patrick cleaned the lever, and it slid well again. Because it was not repaired but only cleaned (a simple, minuscule task), I requested a refund for this, but it was also denied. I have been a loyal and content Sears customer for about 50 years, but I am very displeased with the warranty service and refund procedure. I had to wait about a month before I was refunded correctly for the returned parts to repair my refrigerator in April. As a result, I have cancelled my warranty service because this has been a stressful and terrible experience for me.

Did not know what he was doing

Mark was very nice, but it was clear that he did not know what he was doing. He took a superficial cover off of the top of the microwave, and then had to call another technician who was apparently very good with microwaves to ask him about it. He said he was used to have a step stool but didn't have it anymore, and asked if I had one he could borrow. All I had was a small plastic stool that my children use to wash their hands. He said that would be fine, but it looked like it was about to collapse under him. Ultimately, he said that the lightbulb was not covered by the warranty and there was nothing he could do. I am not sure if I believe that though because I have been in contact with LG and they are working to make it right for me.

Rip off

They tell you that no part is available, so not fixable device. Pay 260 $ for the info. They can do that on few in a raw and make 1000 in 2 hrs with nothing to work on. Great business model

Completely unacceptable

Robert was completely unable to look at microwave to repair it. He first asked "where are the buttons?" for a touch screen microwave that the model number and serial number were provided. Then he said he could not diagnose what was wrong to order any parts, because two people were needed to take the microwave down. It would be 2 weeks to come back with a 2nd person. Then before leaving having accomplished nothing, he used our bathroom for over 5 minutes. I contacted LG to send a different service provider.

He look at the microwave then he says he has to call somebody and never came back inside, after 20 minutes in his car he left without saying anything.
