GE Microwave Repair
Technician assessed the microwave problem and stted that the defective part (noise filter assembly) is no longer available (NLA). After reassembly of the microwave and further discussion, technician stated that one of the two fuses on the noise filter assembly needs to be replaced. Technician was driving a rental truck and had no parts on the truck and only had his tools. Instead of replacing the entire microwave, we would obviously prefer a simple fuse replacement. This is apparently not an option with Sears. I called a local appliance repair and they stated this 20 amp ceramic fuse is one that is interchangeable and they carry several on their service trucks. I am strongly considering cancelling the Sears Home Warranty for our all our appliances. This was a very disappointing outcome.

Micro wave repair
The technician Trevor was the best part of the experience. your customer service was terrible. you made, and missed appointments, would not specific a window of arrival. you rescheduled without contacting me, and worst of all i could not speak to a live rep, only very limited AI.

Unsatisfied
I provided all information including model number, serial number etc plus explanation with issue Prior to the appointment stating I felt I needed an igniter for the stove top. Your system didn't provide info to tech plus sent him with the wrong part. He was here 2 hours and I am in the same position I was in before he came. Now I have to wait another week before it is hopefully fixed. Why ask for the information ahead of time if you're not using it. This was a waste of my time and yours.

Late
Was first told tech would be there in the am; then early afternoon. Then late afternoon. Why 3 time changes. Tech looked at microwave for maybe 2 minutes. Then went outside to make a call to warranty company. Now we have to wait 3-5 days to see if they'll repair or replace. That is not the techs fault but unsatisfied with warranty company too. Turned in claim more than 10 days ago.

Dan was very professional
unfortunately, Sears is way overpriced for doing nothing. I have nothing bad to say about Dan. He was very courteous. But I am not happy with the way. Sears did not send text messages like they said they would, did not give me a discount like they said they would and I had to call back and get a lower one pretty much bait and switch. And for what they do, it is way over price and I should've called somebody local. I would recommend Dan highly but I would not recommend Sears service sadly.

Microwave Repair
Brandon is a good guy. However this is his second repair at my home. He has nothing good to say about my home warranty service provider. Like his 1st repair job at my home, this repair was not completed.

Poor communication
The service itself from Bernardo was 5 stars. The two stars is due to Sears poor customer service; The phone number only provides an automated menu, with no way to speak to an actual person. When the window of time the technician was to arrive had past, the estimated time of arrival didn't update until an hour later and there was no way to ask someone in the meantime if they were still arriving that day. None of us the automated responses provided a helpful answer. Truly frustrating, especially when you've been waiting at home all day during the window of time that was originally given, and not knowing for sure if you'll receive the service that you already paid good money for.

Very disappointed
This is the 3rd visit. ( another to follow on 14 th February) to repair my microwave oven. I am not sure Herman knows exactly what he's doing.

Issues with scheduling and install
The first issue was a replacement part that was damaged in the mail. Second issue was a scheduling error that forced a rescheduling. Third issue was the installer claimed the cabinetry around the microwave prevented him from removing the microwave from the wall forcing another rescheduling, despite my son and I taking 5 minutes to remove the microwave. Finally, my son and I had to reinstall the microwave on the wall because the tech replaced the part and left.
