Repair broken microwave
Amazed that the repair parts were not in stock and took three weeks to obtain. Don't appreciate that the technician made the appointment time for the repairs and just failed to show up for the appointment. No calls to advise of problems, just make an appointment and leave the customer hanging. I have been a customer and had the Sears Home Guarantee for over 11 years in one place or another and have been sadly disappointed during this microwave repair chapter.
Gary F,
Norfolk, VATechnician great...customer service not
There is no way you can access customer service either by phone or internet when the problem you're dealing with doesn't correspond to the options provided. I've had maintenance contracts for years and have never been so frustrated or disappointed. I miss the old Sears.

The appliance did not find working when we checked, technician left without calling us and checking with us. We stepped in home for some work.

Saul was great. He was efficient and good at his job. The Sears system however, is very frustrating. There are no humans to get help from, the bot is awful, the wait times are extreme and it has taken weeks to get my microwave repaired. Having to give up an entire day to wait for a repair person is ridiculous. It is no fault of the repair man. It is the Sears system that is terrible. I may not renew my service agreement. There must be a better way than this.
Claire H,
Darien, ILA nightmare with a good ending
I don't know who Raj is. I do know who completed the service - Arsen - and he was wonderful. If Raj is the person diagnosing and ordering parts he was right on regarding what was needed. However, he disabled the working parts of the microwave so I had no fan or stove light for 2 weeks. That is why I put 3 stars. Between technician visits it was an absolute nightmare trying to contact Sears and getting those answering the phones to believe me. The automated system was the biggest nightmare. Trying to get a live person and figure out what number to call was near impossible. It was hard to keep going and although some were sympathetic I almost gave up. If I were rating what happened between technicians I would give a minus star rating.

I found the repairman very rude. It appears he knows how to repair the equipment.

Frank was ok. Your warranty program sucks. That pretty much sums it up
Bruce B,
Round Rock, TXMicrowave repair
My microwave was not repaired and even though he claims it was not damaged from being abused choice warranty is denying repairs. Seems like a scam. I will say he was professional and polite, his professional opinion did not go very far. I am really disappointed

First tech ordered the spare parts. The second technician says they don't stock some of the spare parts needed. Y wouldn't the first tech be assigned to finish the job? Now he says the whole microwave has to be replaced. He seemed not to know how to remove the microwave from the mount. Removed roughly
