Explained everything that's going on with the appliance problem and what's involved in repairing it. Very thorough. Fortunately gave us good advice to check with the manufacturer on the warranty: our problem appears to be common and the manufacturer was willing to send us the part. That gives us confidence in his service. When that arrives we will be scheduling install.

Our washer quit the weekend after Thanksgiving. Our home warranty company dispatched Sears Home Services. Mike came out and diagnosed the problem. The part was ordered and unfortunately on backorder. It eventually came in and another rep came out to install it. The new part did not solve the problem. Seems that possibly it had multiple problems. The new part was ordered. Mike came out today to install the new part. The problems seem to have been fixed. After 5 weeks, let's hope so. Both Mike and the other rep were very personable and knowledgeable.
