The ice maker broke and, as usual, it was a very inconvenient time right before the holidays. Sears was great, especially the technician, Jim. Because we had to order the parts there was uncertainty as to when they would arrive. Jim gave us his cell number and said to call if the parts came in before they were scheduled---three weeks away. They did come in; we called Jim, and he fit us into his busy schedule. Excellent service all around.

The repairman, Ahmad, called to let me know when he would be arriving. He quickly replaced the three defective parts (ice maker assembly, temperature sensor, and refrigerator fresh food evaporator cover assembly), sealed the ice maker compartment from the more humid air of the refrigerator (which caused the ice buildup, leading to the malfunction of the ice maker) and checked to make sure everything was running OK before leaving. Overall, Ahmad was pleasant, efficient and competent -- a very successful end to what had been a 2-month ordeal with Sears to finally get the repair done!

John did a wonderful job. Very professional he explained everything and was very careful taking the washer apart and putting it back together which I really appreciated. This is probably the best service repair I have experienced in my 40+ years of owning appliances. Hopefully nothing will break down anytime soon, but if it does, I will be requesting John.
