Repaired but left creeped out.
Happy he was able to fix my dishwasher which apparently needed to be leveled again. Unsettled thst he asked for my WiFi password (no) and to use my bathroom (no). Please send your employees with wireless service sufficient to complete their job responsibilities. He also admitted to eavesdropping on a work related call and asked me about my kids, as a result. I found it unprofessional and unsettling.
Customer,
Michigan. He performed service, but had me sign that I had refused ser
I wasn't pleased that he showed "refused service" lumped in with "refused warranty". I did refuse warranty, to him and everyone else who asked, but obviously I didn't refuse service. The problem with the ice maker was the the electrical connection at the bottom of the unit had come loose. He plugged it back in and the unit began working immediately. No parts required. Otherwise, I was pleased with results and professionalism I have always received with Sears Home Services.

4 visits and every time, the tech comes, does one thing and leaves, saying " give it 48 hours to make ice" 4 visits, 4 failures. This is ridiculous

Our experience with online support was very poor. Sears reputation for online support/speaking to a human is gone. That's something Sears needs to fix. The diagnosis was well done, parts ordered, new appointment scheduled. That's when things fell apart. We were not notified that the new appt. Was cancelled even though we received the part. That's a whole day waiting. Today's fix was well done but very fast—We we were charged for labor that didn't match the time spent for the fix.

Great customer skills. My refrigerator is still not working. It is hotter inside then my house.

Maso was very courtesy, and the system was finally repaired after two weeks down. The area to improve is the troubleshooting that was not accurate, requiring to order two parts with each lead time.

We have a ceramic floor and Christopher dropped his metal tools damaging the ceramic floor. A rubber or thick cloth pad could have prevented it. Advice your technician to bring one.

He was good with his work but not friendly on both occasions.

The technician was not competitive enough. He was not able to figure out where the circuit went bad.

Michael was very good when he was here. The problem is that we had two dates scheduled for him to install the parts on our dishwasher when he didn't show up. Also, no one informed us that he wouldn't show up. That meant we sat around waiting for him for two days from 8AM until 5 PM. Finally, since he only serves our area one day each week, there was an additional two weeks that we were without our dishwasher. In total, it took 5 weeks for our dishwasher to be repaired after the diagnosis. Michael is a great guy, but we won't be using Sears Home Service again.
