The website said that the technician would take measurements to order the gasket; I spoke to Hugo and asked him if it would be possible to reinstall the same gasket in the door. He tried and was able to insert the gasket in the door. This without doubt saved Sears money in not having to replace the gasket with a new one; and he was able to finish the repair in less than half an hour. He tested the gasket for pressure and heat loss, and it seems that the repair was thorough.
