Don came and installed the part perfectly. I am not, however, impressed with the Sears Home Warranty. Don was also the first repairman to arrive on 9-25. He confirmed the part for the icemaker on our Kenmore refrigerator was defective. He located a replacement part, and notified my wife and I that the part would be shipped directly to our residence. The part arrived four days later, on 9-29. I scheduled another appointment to have the part installed on 9-30. The appointment was confirmed. No technician arrived and I was never informed of a cancellation. Another appointment was scheduled (this was all done through the AI phone line) for 10-6. No technician arrived and I was never informed of a cancellation. On 10-7, I scheduled another appointment through AI. The technician never arrived and I was never informed of a cancellation. On 10-8, the same scenario repeated itself. On 10-10, the same scenario repeated itself. On 10-10, I was able to make contact with an actual person, named Maria. She was informed of all the above. Maria then put me in contact a supervisor, Grayson. Another appointment was made for Monday, 10-13, between 8am and 5 pm. Don arrived at approx. 12:40 and finally completed the repair. As far as I am concerned, this is a very poor way to run a business. I will be seeking to terminate my contract with Sears Home Services.
