This morning Desmond came to my house to try to repair my machine. Unfortunately, the part that I need is no longer available. this is the second time that Desmond service star washing machine. I was glad to see him this morning because he is always very professional and takes his time to explain things and to inform you of things that you need to know. So I give him an excellent evaluation. We have been Kenmore purchasers for years. The last washer and dryer that we had werekenmore and they lasted over 30 to 40 years. This particular Kenmore washer did not last as long. I am very disappointed in this because I always had a lot of respect for their products. Also, I would've purchased the part if it was available but it's no longer available which was disappointing to me my complaint is about Ken Moore not the Repair person. Ken Moore should create products that last more than six or seven years.

completely removed all the parts to go deep inside and look at electrical first. then re assembled some and ran and timed on the temperature gauge. sure enough will cook clothes and shrink all items as not controlled. had to order new part. waiting for part to arrive and fix. Great job for me and sears. also fixed the bookkeeping as was billed for washer instead of the dryer. so first order cancelled and 2nd order completed properly rewritten, signed and ordered while here, while on the job. Great job in my opinion. thank you.
