Mustafa was the third technician sent by Sears since January 9. He was fine. This review is for my overall experience. The first guy didn't even open the freezer and ordered the wrong part. He also couldn't find my house. The second guy was better, but he didn't inspect the inside of the fridge and ordered parts he didn't need as well. The one part I needed, the sensor, should have been on his truck and should not have required ordering. Also, because of a glitch in the ordering system, that sensor did not come when it was ordered, requiring several calls on my part to beg to get it reordered. Because of all this ineptitude, I was forced to wait over a month to get my fridge repaired. I am deeply unsatisfied. Also your call center is terrible.

Problem was not solved

Non-functional part is still not working. He did not demonstrate the results and rushed to go away. Actually, the broken element remains in a non-working status. It has been almost 6 months since the first day of diagnostic and nothing has been returned to normal

I was misinformed and told him he could park in any space. When the door person told him that he had to park in the service area he was rude to her. He then called me and was angry. I don't know all of the rules, but he shouldn't have been angry or rude. I was very uncomfortable and would prefer a different technician.

Job Was Not Completed

The technician was courteous at first. When he was in the process of fixing our fridge he somehow shattered the beautiful glass dome of our chandelier. It's irreplaceable and I was in shock. I didn't know he cut himself as I was in shock and he got angry that I didn't seem concerned about him. He kept saying that he needed to fix himself first and was very rude when I offered to help patch up his hand. I understand he might have been in shock as well, but the experience was awful. Our fridge was never fixed and I'm devastated that our beautiful chandeliers are now ruined.

Poor repair

Despite the fact the first tech ordered 3 parts and that I paid for repair of the three, the techinician that came out after parts arrived decided two of the three parts were unnecessary and now my ovens are operating the same as before repair!

Horrible experiences with this technician

Kept accusing me that my stove has been broken before purchasing the warranty which is a lie. Came again almost a year later just to determine my vent is broken and been broken for years which is another lie.

Don't buy a Sears warranty

I paid for a Sears warranty. Then, I paid a $100 deductible. Tech came to my home and said that my cooktop was not covered. So, what was I paying for?

Sears Repair Technician

Technician was a no show two appointments in a row. The technician didn't even have the courtesy to call me today. 31 December 2025 to let me know he wasn't comi g. I've been with Sears maintenance program for more than 25 yrs and I have never been treated so disrespectfully as I have been today and on 27 December 2025. On that date 27 December 2025 the technician was a no show. This is totally unacceptable and for what I pay in fees for the maintenance contract, I am so disappointed

Sears - why so inefficient?

Patricio was fine. It's Sears I am complaining about. Sears sent numerous emails asking details about the problem, which I answered in detail. They said this way they can come with the parts. I asked Patricio why he didn't have the parts with him, since he didn't do any diagnosing while he was here. Then he told me the part wasn't available on a 2 year old Jenn-Air and they would need to do research. Thanks Sears!

Strong arm sales tactic

Rodney came to look at my trash compactor. He could not get it out of the cabinet but said it was a problem with the gears. I would have to find someone to get the compactor out of the cabinet and cost to repair would be over $700. I told him I needed to think about it but after I paid the service fee ($140) I found out that amount could only be applied to repair cost if I agreed to the repair on the spot. Customer Service refused to extend the time.
