Freestanding ice maker
At first, he wasn't going to work on it because he said he didn't work on things like that, but when I told him the last Sears service tech worked on it and all he did was clear out the lines and it fixed the problem. So, then he came into the house. Once he pulled out the unit from underneath the cabinet, it started draining the water that was in the bottom of the icemaker. He said the lines were kinked.

Young man was prompt and very polite. Language was a bit of a barrier but not a lot and he did a very good job

Overall experience has been awful. However, Raymond came and fixed my water filter in fridge. He cleaned up area and made sure I was not charged since I had previously paid. Still waiting for ice maker to fill with ice - so far I've only had 6 cubes drop - jury is still out if we've completely fixed it or not
Kathleen K,

Coverage was denied as Nathan had to request replacement of the entire dispenser. If reality is that there was no way to just fix flap, then guess nothing else could be done. Just hoping he could have fixed flap!

Im aware that a good tech is busy and limited for time and I do appreciate the app that says his proximity. However, sending a different tech to follow up on a job created on both our parts. first. he did not know where to show up and that was a barrier. secondly, the person who was supposed to meet him was always only 15 min away from the site and Eugunio called me 10 min after he arrived and said he had other jobs to do and I need to hurry up. Then, he did not know that the job was on a boat in a marina further away from where he parked. He showed obvious signs of frustration. During the service, he did not explain his actions and at the end said the ice make should start working within 48 hours. That to me was a cop-out. that machine makes ice with an hour and he was too ready to leave to even see if the machine went through its cycle, saying if it does not, call you and you would send out a new tech. That puts the responsibility and expense back on you. Believe me, I will be more than skeptical over the next two days and if that machine so much as flickers, I will make some one else come out here. All that said, the first tech you sent was engaging and helpful and i felt that he knew his job and wanted me to be assured I picked the right company.
