Heating system
The Sears technician was uncourteous and didn't bother to let us know that the job had been completed or where the status was. Instead of coming in and turning on the system to make sure that it was working he didn't bother we left the door open to see if he wanted to come in to try out and turn on the heating system but instead he drove away without letting us know the job is done anything. When we tried to turn on the heating system it wasn't working.

Fraud lying
No Show for 3 times. Johnathon never came!!! You people stood me up 3 times and never even called or text. I have a ring doorbell camera so don't try and lie!!! I've already written a bad review and I've contacted BBB this company is awful. I have taken care of my furnace. Do not contact me again

Unkind and Unhelpful
Ignacio was very rude and didn't do anything for us. He was the 4th or 5th technician that Sears sent out and he had no idea what was going on. He asked me what was the problem and when I ask him if he knew anything and he responded with no, I told him I didn't want him working on our unit. It's terrible that there are no notes for him to look at it and it's my job to know what's wrong. I'm not a technician I shouldn't have to explain anything when we have had someone out from Themis company 6 times already. When I told Ignacio I didnt want him touching my HVAC and I would like him to call someone like a manager, he got mad at me and slammed his ladder back in is van and hugged off. He was very unprofessional and unkind. If we weren't going through home warranty to get our heater fixed, we would pick another company. It's beenr a month and a half already without a heater and they haven't fixed it and are still asking me what's wrong like it's the first time they are coming. It's very unfortunate.

Review
Elbert could not find anything wrong with my mini-split unit. It is not throwing out warm air, as it should be doing. He said he had read an error code, and he and the others he works with determined it meant the outside air was too cold to allow the unit to warm the house. The outside temperature was 44 degrees! The unit will operate in temperatures as low as -13 degrees. He said that is just the way the mini-split systems work. That is absurd. Additionally, I told him another HVAC technician was out two weeks ago, and he said the unit was low on freon due to a leak. I told Elbert this, and he brushed it off. I STILL do not have a working unit! Finally, Sears emailed me an estimate I supposedly signed. He did not have me sign anything when he was here. Furthermore, the signature displayed in the email looks nothing like my signature.

Home warranty service call
The technician was friendly but his diagnostics are questionable. Upon having a second company(Lion home servicing) come out to do a cleaning as recommended by the tech on the same day. The new company found that a motor on the blower is not working correctly and recommended replacement furnace unit instead of just throwing a bandaid on it and replacing just the blower part on top of any cleaning. I am not confident in what was recommended by the Sears tech to remedy the issue.

Furnace preventive maintenance
Our furnace has not worked since your technician (James) left our home. This is totally unacceptable. It is TERRIBLY cold in our home. We called your service phone number and they said you could not come out until tomorrow. We need immediate service.

Terrible Service.
We've been calling Sears about our Furnace for over 2 months. The Technician seems unable to fix it. We have the proper warranty on it. Yet, he's lying, billing the acct, not showing up and canceling our appointments. While we're home waiting for him to show up. We'll then see a text message that our "Technician was there and cust didn't sign copy!".... REALLY! Our home is freezing. We have heaters running all the time in our home and our O&R bill has gone up. Trying to call Sears is a headache, all you get is nothing but big running around and no one seems to be able to help you!! I'm at a breaking point. All my papers are in order. As a customer, we shouldn't be treated like this. We've already paid for this service. "Brett", has pulled this Furnace apart several times and stated that "He doesn't know what wrong." Please send a Technician out that can provide us with the proper service that we need ASAP. We need HEAT!! Thank you

Reparing heat pump service
The sears heat pump repairing technician made wrong technical judgement, causing the repairing delayed more than 10 days in November cold weather. Also this technician treated us with impolite/rude attitude. He needs to improve both the technical skills and professional communication skills when speaking to customers.
