It started when my appointment was scheduled the morning of the appointment I received a confirmation. 90 minutes later my appointment was rescheduled for 2 weeks later. the day of the rescheduled appointment when I received confirmation the tracking showed 10:08 at 11:30 I called scheduling a few minutes later the tracking was updated for 1:10 around 1:00 it was pushed to 2:02 at 1:45 it was pushed to 3:00 he finally showed up about 3:45. He spent less than 30min for 3 appliances. when I asked questions he said everything was working fine (which was not true) he then walked away while I was still trying to ask additional questions he seemed in too much of a hurry to talk to me and really address my concerns. Completely horrible experience.

Furnace/Thermostat

The technician came out and fixed my furnace yes he got my heat to work but he programmed my thermostat he programmed it to On Auto and Circulate meaning my thermostat never cuts off. Due to this my bill is now extremely high and I now have to pay for someone to com out again to fix the problem. Which is extremely unfair to me

On March 15, Don came to put in the replacement part for our heater. It was the wrong part, but another technician brought the correct part after about 30 minutes. Don worked on our unit, trying everything he could but was unable to get the heater to work. The power would come on, but there was no ignition or blowers engagement. Don told us that he would update his mentor and the warranty company with the result that he COULD NOT REPAIR the heater. We have waited patiently until today, almost 2 WEEKS for an update and when I called your company and then the warranty company, I was told the job had been closed. How can you close a job that was not finished?! Don told us that if it were Allbritten or another company, we would be replacing the unit at this point, but because of the warranty, we had to go through channels. So we waited, only to find out that YOU, the service provider, had CLOSED our job! This is absolutely unbelievable and unprofessional! We've been without heat for a month, and now have to wait another 12 days for someone to come out on a recall. We pay our warranty fee every month and expect, and usually receive, far better service. I would have given Don as many stars as possible because he was very clear and professional and we thought he was thorough; now, though, I have no idea what is going on!

Poor communication.

It took thirty minutes to be connected to the right representative handling an existing claim. There voices were very inaudible at times during the phone calls.

Heat and conditioner unit

They didn't fix the unit and I'm waiting today and nobody showed up so I can't give you no good review. I was very inconvenient, unit is still not working someone needs to come and fix it. It don't do me no good to be Paying for a warranty service when my unit is still not fix.

After 2 trips out to my house my heat pump problem still exists ( blowing cold air) he claims he can't see a problem, his suggestion is to trip the main circuit breaker at the panel. That is totally unacceptable!!! He didn't even go check out the 2nd heat pump which I believe is located in the crawl space. I had to call CHW for a third time and request another company come out to figure out what the problem is and they are charging me another dispatch fee! I'm not really sure who I'm more dissatisfied with, CHW or your company. You asked, I answered.

Home gas heating system

Our home warranty is with Choice Home Warranty but was serviced by Sears under their contract with Sears. First I will say that once your service men came and then came back they were very helpful and polite. However, the lack of customer service displayed by your Sears team was horrible. The initial inspection to diagnose the problem was handled with great expediency but the follow-up left us with the distinct impression that you DO NOT consider your commitment to your Choice Home Warranty clients at all a serious commitment! Our case got rescheduled 4 times, each on the day of service that had been scheduled for us. Each of the 4 times we had received multiple reminders that we had to be home all day waiting for your workmen. Each of the 4 times we had received up to five reminders of the date and time beginning a week before and going to the day of. This is a major office scheduling glitch that should not happen once let alone 4 times. This meant that my husband had to cancel his plans. The additional month without our gas heating cost us a heating bill of over $400 I would have expected way better service from SEARS than this.
