Fall heating startup
Royce called, confirmed time he could arrive that worked well for both of us. He checked out the furnace, including the wiring compartment, the water exhaust piping from the high efficiency furnace, and the CO level. Confirmed the level was below the required standard. And asked if I had changed the filter recently. Had me raise the thermometer setpoint so he could hear the startup, the exhaust fan come on and the heat subsequently start, followed by the distribution fan. Thank you.

Frank shared with us the condition of our heating unit, said it was doing well considering it's 17 yrs old and changing filter is the biggest maintenance we can do. He was polite and very respectful.

Technician keeps saying that the unit needs replaced but sears keeps giving me the run around, great tech bad company. Sears listen to you tech And replace my unit for Godsake stop playing games.

I recently had a technician visit yo repair my furnace. He was very professional and gave explanations in detail to us. My understanding from his visit tge repairs he made were related to my thermostat. We had a new furnace installed in Nov 2022. It was under warranty through Sears Home Warranty. My understanding is tgst the previous technicians had installed my thermostat as a heat pump and I have a high efficiency gas furnace. This was the cause of my current problem. I feel I should be reimbursed for the 100.00 fee for a service call. I appreciate the time and consideration of this. Thanks
