Very bad
It took a month to repair a boiler. Very bad service and very bad communication. I do not recommend to anyone to use the service.

Trash
Tech showed up ask to see the heating unit. I told him it was on the roof. His response was oh I can't get to that he looked at it in disbelief that a heating unit was on the roof and then left. Not once did he get a tool out or ask how everyone else gets up there. I hope your company fails just as hard as actual Sears did.

Customer
I had been without heat for 7 days waiting on Sears Home Svcs to send somebody. This morning at 8:15 Mr. Brian C. came and found 24v wiring shorting out at condenser. He cut back wire and reattached them to condenser low voltage. It worked for about 5-10 min after he left and then didn't work any more. I waited an hour or two and called back and was told he would be back at 5:00 pm today. Nobody showed up, called or sent a message. Before today, I called 2 or 3 times and filled out forms on the internet to no avail. Messages popped up saying "Oops, something happened, start over." I never got to speak with anybody that I could hardly understand. Your new system just doesn't work. As for Mr. Brian C., he was extremely nice and polite and did what he thought would help. He seemed like a nice person. So, as of 11:40 pm on 12/20/23, I'm still without heat. Could you please help? I have a flawless record as to my monthly payments and have only used you one time which was 2 yrs ago. Please help.

Sears - Unscrupulous insurance
We are not happy with the fact that Sears' interest lies in the collection of money (monthly premium) from its customers and it comes to the service paid for, Sears denies or claims not to cover it. We think Sears is a company set up by highway robbers with the chief goal of duping its customers. First, Sears robbed me of my maintenance that was duly paid for, and now they sent me a so-called technician who stated that Sears does not cover part of the job he was paid to do in the first place. A technician is supposed to fix and clean the furnace he was hired for, and to claim that Sears does not cover most of the job, is criminal.

Not fixed yet
I have been out of heat for TWO MONTHS!!! FOUR different Sears technicians have come to "fix" my heat pump. Most have done nothing but scratch their heads, promise to order parts and never show up again. One finally got the system partially fixed. The repair is now out for "reassignment" to see if some outside contractor can fix it. SEARS is so cheap the most will not touch the job. The system needs REPLACED!!!

Heating system
The Sears technician was uncourteous and didn't bother to let us know that the job had been completed or where the status was. Instead of coming in and turning on the system to make sure that it was working he didn't bother we left the door open to see if he wanted to come in to try out and turn on the heating system but instead he drove away without letting us know the job is done anything. When we tried to turn on the heating system it wasn't working.

Fraud lying
No Show for 3 times. Johnathon never came!!! You people stood me up 3 times and never even called or text. I have a ring doorbell camera so don't try and lie!!! I've already written a bad review and I've contacted BBB this company is awful. I have taken care of my furnace. Do not contact me again

Unkind and Unhelpful
Ignacio was very rude and didn't do anything for us. He was the 4th or 5th technician that Sears sent out and he had no idea what was going on. He asked me what was the problem and when I ask him if he knew anything and he responded with no, I told him I didn't want him working on our unit. It's terrible that there are no notes for him to look at it and it's my job to know what's wrong. I'm not a technician I shouldn't have to explain anything when we have had someone out from Themis company 6 times already. When I told Ignacio I didnt want him touching my HVAC and I would like him to call someone like a manager, he got mad at me and slammed his ladder back in is van and hugged off. He was very unprofessional and unkind. If we weren't going through home warranty to get our heater fixed, we would pick another company. It's beenr a month and a half already without a heater and they haven't fixed it and are still asking me what's wrong like it's the first time they are coming. It's very unfortunate.

Review
Elbert could not find anything wrong with my mini-split unit. It is not throwing out warm air, as it should be doing. He said he had read an error code, and he and the others he works with determined it meant the outside air was too cold to allow the unit to warm the house. The outside temperature was 44 degrees! The unit will operate in temperatures as low as -13 degrees. He said that is just the way the mini-split systems work. That is absurd. Additionally, I told him another HVAC technician was out two weeks ago, and he said the unit was low on freon due to a leak. I told Elbert this, and he brushed it off. I STILL do not have a working unit! Finally, Sears emailed me an estimate I supposedly signed. He did not have me sign anything when he was here. Furthermore, the signature displayed in the email looks nothing like my signature.
