Wouldn't recommend Sears
Wouldn't recommend them if they were the last company on earth. They always manage to fail at getting things done the first time. It is always a hassle and can take months, if ever to get repaired.

Lacks empathy to solve issue
This is 2nd visit, first visit asked us to remove the air filter to resolve overheating heater. 2nd visit started by saying we are not responsible for this issue. The system may be complicated but technician should not report back saying problem is resolved and ticket closed! The heater is still not working and faults out intermittently.

Quit in the middle of the night
We have had issues with the furnace stopping. Had Sears come out yesterday. Repair man was polite, but I woke up to a 54 degree house. Got it reset. Hopefully can get a quick fix

Not fixed
The furnace kicked on 1 time and isn't coming back on. He should have stayed through a whole cycle. I need someone to give me heat 🥺 please

HVAC
I had an appointment last week; about 15 minutes before the agreed upon window (1-5 pm), the tech cancelled. Today, the tech was scheduled between 8 and noon. He showed up after 2 pm. Could not fix the problem. HE wasn't qualified to change the control board in my two zone system. I took 2 days off from work and the HVAC still isn't working properly. This was a complete waste of my time. AND, he signed a bunch of paperwork and emailed it to me stating it bore MY signature.

Didn't show up
I got a service window between 8am and 5pm which was frustrating but I figured as long as my heat gets fixed it's OK. Then the time got changed to 6pm, I had to reschedule stuff but it is what it is. Then 7pm rolls around and still nothing, after that sears sent me a text saying he had completed the service!!

No show
This was a no show…so really bad. No call, no follow up. Waited for an hour and nobody came.

HVAC
Technician checked everything. Said outside unit was fine other than being old. He actually saw with instant thermometer reading the heat was pushing room temparture air. But when the Aux/Emerg switch kicked in, it blew hot air and said it was fixed. He didn't do anything and didn't troubleshoot at all with the exception of checking the refrigerant pressure. Warrantee company said they are assigning a new hvac company.

Furnace Problem
My experience with Mr. Hung was HORRIBLE! He came in my home and did absolutely nothing. Would not let me explain what was wrong. He turned on the furnace and said you have heat. If someone has to return he can not come back into my home. I have told First American Home Warranty that.

DO NOT USE
This review is not a reflection on the tech but on Sears-they have been to my house twice, no showed twice-one appt was schedule for 8AM-12PM they showed up at 8:30 PM- then had another appt for 8AM-12PM, when they didn't show up I reached out they said they would be there at 7:45-8:20PM -I have taken off work and now you are telling me you are going to be 12 hours late. I told them not to come, they have no consideration for my time! My time is just as value as yours. You are not welcome here! This is ridiculous, I have spent 3 days waiting for you to no show!
