Warranty
Really tried hard to sell us a new furnace. Told us that warranty customers are basically last priority and that if someone else calls they will drop us for them because cash is king. Made appointments as reminders to himself but didn't tell us that so we took days off of work, losing income and waiting around all day. Went on vacation and instead of assigning our case to someone new, we had to wait for him to come back. We couldn't use our air conditioner until the part was installed and have 2 senior dogs and 2 small children. Temperatures were in the 90s

Unhappy Customer
The technician states there's nothing wrong with the system, if the system is not cooling and you have to top off antifreeze, in order for it to work then there is something wrong with the system, and I'm no technician. It sees he gets very irritated if you ask him a questions. I told him we have the same problem usually twice a year where they have to add antifreeze. I told him I will be discussing this with the warranty company.

Meddling svc due to poor management
Technician arrived 2 hours later than the initial 4 hour window. Despite my providing information on the website, it was clear neither he nor anyone had reviewed it. Technician arrived totally unprepared. Diagnostic cash grab only.

No show
Despite repeated text confirmations of appointment and one saying he was on the way he didn't come. Sears told Cinch he called twice but I have no record of a call or text. Supervisor from India blamed Cinch for confusing him by not supplying apartment number which Cinch denied. If he went to correct address desk clerk was expecting him. Was promised he would return later that day and then told matter was closed by Sears even though Cinch shows as active. Spent most of day on phones. Awful. Waiting on qualified technician from Cinch for over two months. Please contact me at 7034085237.

Repair of heat pump
Nothing got fixed. Still running on auxiliary heat. Nice guy. Said I probably had a Freon leak but couldn't repair or replace bad part. Service call was useless

Still not fixed…
Daquan replaced the blower which allows the unit to run emergency heat. He was unable to fix regular heat because there is no freon. When asked why there was no Freon, he said there must be a leak…but doesn't know where. He was unable to answer questions regarding emergency heat and how it behaves with thermostat. I had to ask a million questions to get any explanation of what was going on….and he wasn't sure about his responses. Not personable at all. Even though the unit can now run on emergency heat, it still has a leak and can't run normally.

Reilly Home - HVAC service
He was consistent in coming, except for a complete no show back in November. He complained from the first day he arrived that any repairs are temporary for such an old system. He complained that he could not give us anything in writing that shows it's "not repairable." He kept saying it was the fault of the insurance that they won't take the next step and just keep sending a repairman to keep from replacing the unit. He claimed that no one is lying just hiding the truth. This time I insusted that he write a comment in the "repair" paperwork that truly explains what he's been stating…that there's no way to repair it. He claimed that his words should be enough, especially the bit about reassigning the job to another technician - like its code that it means "not repairable." I don't know why it's not best practices to just do honest business without much running around.

Repair HVAC
The technician was here promptly and was able to fix our problem. Sears repair, however, left us for 2 1/2 weeks with no heat. Had to initially schedule 1 week out and then they cancelled our appointment and scheduled us for another 8 days out

Negativity
Most of his comments were on negative side. Telling me our smart ecobee thermostat isn't good and whoever wired it did it wrong, but then at end saying that it was wired correct after all. And I as homeowner is one who wired it with help of ecobee support, so didn't feel too good to hear his comments. He did confirm our furnace works, bypassing thermostat signal, so it narrows down issue which may be signal from thermostat, which is helpful.
