Diagnose wrong
The house has two AC units on the ground next to each other, the first AC unit for downstairs and the second unit for upstairs. The technician diagnosed the wrong AC with the wrong thermostat. (meaning the downstairs thermostat turned on and the tech checked the upstairs AC unit and diagnosed there was no power running) Tech should come back to rediagnose the same AC unit again with the right thermostat and right AC. Tech should come back to the house ASAP.

Dissatisfaction
I attempted to explain that my thermostat had been set on 74 ALL day but the temp would not exceed 75 degrees, therefore the unit has been running continually. He insisted that nothing was wrong with the unit. Told me to chang my thermostat. He promptly left! Not friendly at all. Appeared to be annoyed that he had to come back as he had been out here several dsys ago for the same issue. I called Sears and spoke to Tom and he inquired as to whether or not I had checked the batteries in my thermostat. I advised that I didn't know it had batteries. He walked me through and I changed the batteries. He assured me that this should fix the issue. He was so helpful and very professional. Moreover, he took time to hear me out . I have been a Sears customer for many many years and have many items covered under my Master Protection Plan. I have never had any other techs to be rude as Abe.

Technician was disrespectful and tried to bully me into paying more than agreed upon. Came unprepared to complete the job and blamed others. Misrepresented the truth regarding my not willing to pay HIS requested amount. Would have assigned zero if that were a choice. A total of five appointments were scheduled to complete my repair job one of which he didn't attend .

Worse service ever
If i can give him 0 i will. Worse service ever, he went upstairs to check the filters and off the ac. Then, he quickly checked the system outside for less than 2 minutes, and told me that he want to make a call. Basically he cannot do the job. It feels he is not professional repair man. He didn't even put it on the AC back upstairs after he off it. The way he talked ,it feels he don't care if do the job good.

Bad service
The technician did nothing, just check the thermostat and according to him it was the problem. and the air is still worse than it was. They just stole my money.more than they lasted 2 weeks to give me the service

A/C heat pump
I am not sure why I had to pay for this "service call" when the technician did NOTHING. The fact that some weeds had grown up by the units during the summer is not a hindrance for service. He did not even attempt to walk behind the bushes, in or through the flower bed to get to the a/c units. As far as the heat pump goes, which is what he came to fix was not even examined. I was never asked for its location. Yes, it is in the attic. He asked me for a ladder after I told him the location and looked up there but never went up into the attic. The thermostat on the wall say "no a/c power". The technician said the heat pump unit was where to start but didn't even get that far. Again, please explain or confirm why I had to pay for this. Repeated no shows
Your website reviews are horrible because of your failure to actually show up for appointments. In addition to that the range of scheduled appointments is ridiculously broad. When the technician did come, he did a good job but it was way too much work actually getting you hear.

not good
He did not show up on August 3 even though Sears web link all day said he would. Then Choice Home says the heat pump not covered even though it is.
