Fraudulant claim
We were told we don't have a heat pump when a company came out a couple of weeks ago and have pictures of our pump. Also the original company we called out said you can use the chart to measure the refrigerant when this technician denied you can do that during cooler months. Our claim was denied because a false report and diagnostic was given.

Service was not done
The technician was supposed to do a preventative heating maintenance. That was not done. He was called before he left the property to inform him of this mistake. He said I thought your service was because your heat didn't work. I told him no, that was not the service scheduled. He hung up the phone call abruptly. He did not return to complete the service. This is unacceptable and not professional. Please do not send that service technician back to my house. I still need the preventative maintenance service done.

Worst ever
He was behind schedule and that he had been calling me and it kept going to voice. He complained about the fact that it was a crawl space. He did not like this side of town for that reason.

Sears Technician came out to my home on 9/18/2023 to run a diagnostics on my HVAC system. When he arrived I let him know system was leaking and wasn't cooling but not properly. While the technician was running same test on the system my husband asked him why where we smelling a burning smell the technician told him it was from the hot water heater, because he needed the hot water to melt the ice on the system. (That don't make any sense to us) Then the technician asked my husband where was the power to turn the system off. After that we could hear him hitting on something at the system. Technician stayed outside messing with the system for about a hour. When technician came in he told us his diagnostics and was going to his truck to enter the report and wait for a answer to see if he could proceed. Twenty minutes later technician come back in tell us the he didn't get a response back and we would have to wait for them to get back with us. OVERALL WHEN THE TECHNICIAN CAME WE HAD SOME AIR NOW WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY AIR THE SYSTEM ISN'T COMING ON. SEAR NEEDS TO CONTACT ME ASAP TO GET MY SYSTEM BACK ON. (REMIND YOU WE LIVE IN TEXAS 100 DEGREE WEATHER). I will have to escalate this matter if I don't get a response from Sears within 24 hours.

Not Acceptable
I have been going back and forth with this company for 2+ yrs. I have a warranty on my furnace and have had it for many years, for the last 2+ years this company have been sending our repairs people to put bandaids on what is wrong. I'm always told I need a part to go on it but it's always a delay for months. I was then told I needed a new furnace they even sent out a supervisor to confirm this but still no new furnace. The weather is changing again and it will be cold soon but no heat. After 2+ years of having to use my gas stove and space heaters I'm tired of going back and forth. I am an 86 year old woman who would love to have an ending with this service. I am going to terminate my warranty and move on. I can't anymore. Sara Height

Would never call
Broke on Friday in 115 heat on Friday and they showed up on Wednesday afternoon. The technician told the warranty company my 16 year old compressor boke due to the coils being dirty and restricted air flow. They were cleaned this year and every year. It's a old unit. The warranty company denied the claim. I will never use Sears again.

IT'S HOTTER, NOT COOLER!!!
Ronald was very nice and polite but he made our problem worse not better. Prior to Ronald our thermostat wouldn't get cooler than 73 degrees. Now the AC is not cooling at all and the thermostat is up to 81 degrees and it's not even as hot today as it's been in the previous two days. We need someone out here ASAP to fix the problem that was newly created!!!!!
