Very poor knowledge about HVAC
Technician came 12 hours late and checked in 5 minutes and stated that he can't handle the job . Leaving my existing air conditioner caps open I requested to cover the caps. Poor service and waiting to resign by sears and no one showed up or called

Job not well done
My unit is still not working right I had another person to check my unit it is low of Freon and they left my cap off . I'm gonna give choice home warranty a call and let them know what is going on and I don't want sears to come back

Not fixed
Unit Worked for 1 cycle after which tech left. It took him all of 20 minutes to push a button and say everything was fixed and did not stick around to make sure that the system restarted properly. When I realized the system was still not working in approximately 2 hours after the tech left I phoned The CHW office and told whoever received the call that the system was still not working and she said that the tech would call and to keep the line open for him. He never called.

Waste of money
Richard spent a total of 15 mins at my home. He did not do a check. Claimed to identify the issue by standing 10ft away, claiming to feel cool air and made his recommendation. This felt like a quick money grab. He could have given the professional decency of doing a full evaluation. Instead, it was hey the fee is 100. I see the issue we don't cover. A total rip off.

Need to communicate owner before the repair / service
As I explicitly told the tech that this is the rental property and any repair or services he need to let me know beforehand… However I didn't get any updates… not even the report / note tell me what type of repairs/ services that he done to the system

Totally Disgraceful
Not only does he not service anything he blames it on other people stating not properly installed and not up to code WOW then I guess City must be wrong given the fact you have to have inspections and be approved not to mention Sears is the only one that has looked at it meaning Richard is not doing his job and leaving a 90 yr old woman without any heat or air because of his opinion.

Most terrible experience
It took three visits from the Sears technician—who was extremely unprofessional—to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately, inaccurate information was then provided to the warranty company, which resulted in the claim being denied. The item in question is clearly covered under the warranty. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend staying away from this company.
