Tough visit could not do the work, but not Alex's fault

Alex unfortunately found evidence of mice having been in the bottom of my washing machine and informed us that per company policy they couldn't work on it. I cleaned it all out taking the proper precautions and repaired the machine myself. I understand but based upon where a customer lives ( the woods ) it would be good to have known that going into the appointment. "You might want to check for evidence of mice because we can't work on it." It would have saved me the fee for visit.

Stove technique

I had a Sears technician, Manuel come for a second visit in San Francisco to fix my stove, and the experience was awful. He was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from the start. He left trash behind, didn't replace the stove knob, and left my appliance nonfunctional. When I asked why my stove still wasn't working, he said it "wasn't in his order" and told me to "figure it out" with my insurance before walking out. This is unacceptable service. I expected better from Sears. Now I'm left with a broken stove and no help or resolution.

No luck

Even though I told the technician the dishwasher was not drying and requested him to check the l'élément. He ignored me. When he left we started the machine and it did not dry at all. This was the fourth time a sears technician came and the machine is still not functioning properly.

Sent to repair a dishwasher, did not fix dishwasher

Imagine if you will a repairman working on something but telling the homeowner they needed to work on it, so they could work on it. Homes have been being built for a very long time. Each home will have differing ways of installing or building things. To say you cannot repair something because you don't agree with the way something was installed is a bit ridiculous. Also, the company telling me to be home from 8am until 5pm without any idea when the tech is coming is outrageous. I wasted 3 days. 1 where the tech order the part, and the 2nd where he didn't even show or call. And a 3rd when he called me after 2pm to see if I prepped his work area. Very disappointing. The name Sears used to mean something. It is but a shell of what it once was.

Poor Service

We waited 60 days for our fridge to be repaired. Sears kept delaying the service appointment due to parts. So we canceled. Yet I received a payment receipt for a service that they never performed
