Bad Communication

The problem with A&E is communication. I was told that the job would be done on Thursday, no one showed up or called. It was set up 3days prior. I called and kept getting the computer and it was limited, would never connect me with anyone. So I called to set up a new appointment just to see if I could get a person, I did and they said that their technician didn't feel well so he didn't get to 3 appointments. I asked why didn't they call me to let me know that it would have to be rescheduled. The administrator said it would be Monday, I said why not Friday since no one called. They told me the best time was Monday. They had me over a barrel because I already paid for the repair upfront when it was diagnosed. The Technician called Monday morning at 10:58 because it was scheduled for 11:15 . I stepped away from my phone for 5 minutes. The tech had called at 10:58 but left no message. I called back at 11:03, no answer and had to call the office again and now it's scheduled for 2:00, The tech put me back because I didn't answer, this is really bad business! The tech finally showed up at 4:15. I am just appalled at the way they put no way to get a person to call!

He checked everything and didn't really fix anything. Our concern was the washer not completely cleaning and the machine making a loud noise during the cycle. He said it was probably due to the age of the machine and maybe the organic soap we were using.

I have to say this technician did not impress me at all. I really needed a second opinion on the issue but he didn't have the specialized equipment to do the job. Offering his resume of on the job 40years didn't convince me he had the right answer to my problem. Then to say the part is not available.

THE Price is Too High, for a 25 Minute Fix........ Right, they have cost to follow but 160. for twenty five minutes.I will need to go somewhere else Next Time. thank you

tech was helpful and courteous. however, he did charge my CC for $ 75.00, even though $ 100.00 was debited at the time of setting the appointment.

Jeff repaired the issue I had. I supplied the parts needed. However I feel I was overcharged for his labor because I don't think he was here more than an hour tops. I understand he travelled from Danville, but it is crazy that sears cannot provide a Bosch repairman for Champaign, Illinois of all places. It was deceptively advertised as a Champaign service. I will NOT be using your service again as I feel I was totally overcharged for the repair. Jeff also did not appear very familiar with Bosch dishwashers. Sears will not be recommended by me in the future.

He observed the machine start after rebooting the circuit breaker and advised if the error (error 24) repeated, to order a new motherboard for the dishwasher.

My experience with Raymond D was extremely stressful. Partially it was my fault as well as his. I tried to explain what transpired from the time he claimed the dishwasher was fixed to today's appointment. He did not want to hear any of it and claimed anything I had to say was irrelevant. Any advice I received from the technician that came on 09/28/23 or from Bosch was something he did not want to hear and in so many words told me to shut down. I lost it and at that point my temper flared. He finally pulled the dishwasher out and claimed its disfunction was due to mice chewing the hose. If he pulled the machine out on 08/17/23 he would have noticed if mice caused the problem or did the mice infiltrate after 08/17/23 and only the pump caused the breakdown. Allowing the dishwasher to stand dormant for over a month resulted in the area to become a breeding facility for mice to infiltrate. I feal Raymond in his haste to get the job completed in as short a time as possible, missed diagnosing the real problem immediately and is covering his tracks by claiming that the pump was not only the problem. This would have become evident if he allowed the washer to run the full cycle. As it turned out I have been able to replace the dishwasher for much less than your warranty cost. I have come to the conclusion; warranties benefit the seller rather than the holder.
