Refrigerator repair - mixed reviews,
I'll start by saying the repair tech did a great job installing the replacement parts now, my refrigerator is working normally again - definitely five stars for the repair tech. As for Sears overall, process of scheduling actual repair was unacceptable because it took almost a month for them to send a repair tech. At one point, they sent a second tech to perform a second diagnosis which I already had done earlier and it would have cost an additional fee. I had to put my perishable food in coolers and daily change the melting ice. Eventually, I rented a refrigerator to get us through the "repair process". I found out that Sears could have simply replaced the refrigerator with another same- model refrigerator which they had in stock. This is not the first time I've had similar repair issues with Sears. Sears gets one half star since they eventually fixed my refrigerator but at great inconvenience to me.
