Noisy GE Refrigerator, over scheduled repairman
Our refrigerator had a very noisy experience on Christmas Day, so I dug out my expensive extended warranty. The company servicing our warranty had changed to Sears; this was a surprise. It was difficult to make an appointment; an unfortunate surprise. I was charged a fee for the initial visit; another surprise. Sears's overly concerned texts to be sure I would be home during our 12:00-5:00pm arrival window were not helpful when the repairman missed the window by 2+ hours (7:15pm). Fortunately, the overbooked repairman, Ben, was very knowledgeable, very professional, very nice. Ben listened to our concerns, skillfully accessed the possible problem(s) and went about his work. Ben gets a 5, Sears's overbooking scheduling gets a 0.
